Final Inventory Rewamp request for Survivor and Killer
I have a quite a few times along with @SoGo have advise plenty of times that it is time the Inventory for survivor and killer be touched upon. It is beyond annoying that there will be pointless items and offerings specially on the survivor side that even a person who just got got dbd 2mins ago to not touch those items so these will be a long post though I will try make it as short as can and anyone is ofc free to disagree or agree. Also note this is hard because the color changes I be forgetting alot change( has barely been on dbd since orela release)
Survivor
Tool box= Firstly only common and alex is apparent is worth brining. I See 0 reasons on why the other tool boxes are worth using like engineers tool boxes for exampl( please correct me if anyone disagree. For add ons only keep spool, bnp and only the add ons that increases sabotage speed. None of the other add ons is never worth it period.
Medkits= We just need the brown one with the 50% heal speed from the purple and the others gone. Cause for real why should I bring any medkits over a brown one which is dirt cheaper? Between my 3 p 100s, I have 500 purple med kit cause am not gonna use them cause why bother. Glory are the days when each med kit had fun ideas of healing. The heal speed is also redundant because its only if you use your med kit on someone else which i rarely do that if solo q but ofc my swf I will use it on them, there even perks like superior botany that works for me and my team anyway and I just use a heal perk if not in swf since one Franklin's is all it take to make a med kits garbage even with the two nerfed add ons that give charges. Add on wise compare to tool box this one is complex but I say all the brown ones cept the brown bandages is useless. Yellow and above is actually OK
Map and keys= I will put this as just one and I am aware they are being reworked so let us see about that. I wont bother to explain how useless they are why they need to be changed like our common meme of green broken key. Ill only say like med kits only the iri one which should just be at least uncommon is needed and not the green one
Oaks = What is the point of these as they do literally nothing since evey map is becoming a dunking donut. They have no use because they was significantly nerfed to nothing I believe 6.1 or before that? No one uses this or least not my experience.
Shroud= The ones that make you start far away from killer is niche because lethal pursuer being meta so long seen in 90% of my matches makes it not worth using . The one that let's everyone start together is worthless more so will be when that becomes basekit that survivors will always start trial together in phase 2 of map so am assuming it be reworked or retired yellow mori offerings. Happy go lethal user's will be eating extra well soon.
In closing survivors unlike killers are just cosmetic so please just combine and let them use the same inventory. One thing that am abit happy about dailies being gone is while I have all the perks for both sides, having to tell me to play someone like Laurie Strode was a bane and I have no offerings for her or 90% of my survivors, shocking yes?
Killers= I suppose Killers is simpler and have Way less bloated things of useless compared to survivor so for them since they have add ons instead of items. The only fair thing I personally wont mind is just put a few( to not make them op) as base kit remove whatever that is totally irreverent?
Like survivors but against this is abit different since every killer power is different but at least have them share inventory offerings while keeping a different category for their add ons.
For both killer and survivor just seriously make cakes and puddings common and stronger event offering like 113% cakes( just making a number) rare if needs be.
I feel this also help new comers who wishes to get perks they desire more welcoming for either sides. Buff bps to 200 and maybe bring a new ultra offering that gives 300bps for everyone. Maybe both sides may relax and play more casual ( dream on buggy).No matter what every BP offering for killer and survivor is redundant since cake and puddings are giving bp in all categories. Why should either side bother with the rest unless they get mass buff like 200/ 300% in a specific category then that be a reason to use over cakes and I still just rather full points in all categories for both sides.
Map offerings =GET RID OF MAP OFFERINGS period and I will not explain why because 90% of peopleoith agrees on this.
Hatch/Shack/Main building offerings = uh ok I see no one talk about these so I assume both sides are ok with these? Personally I rather them gone but again idk. Opinions welcomed on this one
Bottle offerings= I dont use this or see this regardless of which role. While some say its good for stealth killers and I agree 80% of maps are visible and not even stealth killers seem to use this.
Off topic here but it has also for perks just get rid of teirs. If the perk is too strong/weak then adjustments can always has been done and I feel this makes it stressless for the devs themselves?
Take old iron will as an example where I think patch 5.3 they consider to reduce tier 2 from 100 to 75% . At end of the day even at 90% good head phones can still you hear sometimes just barely harder but everyone will always rather the max benefits of something to make the trial better for them.
In closing I get there be concerns about items/add on for both sides such as syringes being too easily obtainabe or something crazy like pinky finger However I can say if needed just simply raise the BP cap needed on them. Have a nice day and sorry for the long post.

I agree with you on how many useless add-ons and offerings there are. It's extremely bloated.
On Toolboxes, the Engineer, Commodious and Alex's Toolboxes all have their own uses. I feel like the Mechanic's Toolbox should be removed, since it's outshined by the Commodious, which is the same rarity. Add-on wise, I feel like only the Instructions and Spring Clamp are not worth running under any conditions, and even that can be fixed by making them a thing you can apply on a gen forever, making them independant of the Toolbox.
Medkits, yeah. There are no ups or downs, they are all the same.
Keys and Maps are so outdated that it's not even funny.
Petrified Oak DID get a change. It initally removed 1 Hook entirely, and now it increases the space between the hooks. Currently it's useless unless stacked on a bad map like Badham.
BP offerings are half good, half bad. The ones that give a bonus in all 4 categories are perfect, and the sigle category ones should get some adjustments and maybe a removal of one out of the three types.
The bottles suck because they can't stack, plus the fog barely existing. The brown one that increases fog should get removed, it makes 0 difference.
All shrouds will soon become obsolete because of the spawn changes, except the one that spawns you away from the killer. So, we can expect some to get removed.
