Genuinely Curious: Why do players use a 2nd language for the game?
I've seen this(*) sometimes in the bug reporting section of the forums when people share images/videos, and frequently in videos posted on YouTube.
(*)English speaking players using a completely different language in the game.
For example, this Wesker player spoke in English and posted a video title all in English - but every bit of text is in a different language when they play:
I see this very frequently and I'm just genuinely curious as to why?
As far as any videos go, I've never heard the players speak another language.
I actually saw this a lot when I'd watch people play Friday the 13th: The Game back in the day too.
Do you think all these players are bilingual? Or is it fun for a reason that I am oblivious to?

Speaking for myself here. A few years ago I was streaming every now and then on Twitch and I was talking in English - even tho I'm German - cause it attracts a wider audience. I still had many games running in German since it was easier to understand some technical terms those games had.
To explain what you're doing you're required to know what the game wants from you.
