Killer Queue Absurdly Long for 2vs8
You seriously need to shuffle the killer queue. I can queue as survivor and get into a lobby within a minute or two. However, every time I queue as killer, I can be waiting as long as half an hour or longer (.5 hours is the longest I've waited before giving up).
You need to make it fair so everyone has a chance to play both roles if they want.

they really needed to boost the news about what they've said their plan is for the next 2v8 huh

Yea I played 3 matches and said I'm done.
It was about a 12-15m wait for each match. No thank you, lol.

It's easier with a friend, but I have had no longer than about a 15 minute queue for Killer. 20 minutes if late at night.
BHVR is introducing a "play while you wait" feature next iteration though!

@LockerLurk I know! I can't wait, Though I don't know how it will work. The game isn't designed in a short-fashion like Overwatch…

Maybe because everyone wants to play killer?
The problem is even worse now they added Legion and Oni together, so it makes playing the survivor side even less appealing.

Is that just in 2v8? I played killer yesterday in normal mode and surprisingly only waited about 2-3 mins

I waited 15 mins for a normal match as can't stand 2v8.
Gave up.
If I don't want to play and event on cod or fifa I can instantly pick another mode and play.
Dbd?
No you'll have to wait and wait and wait some more.
Pathetic.
Hopefully they do something for the main game.

Well, nobody wants to play Survivor. For Killer the gameplay in 2v8 is unique, for Survivor, you have the same gameplay, sometimes even less of what you have in 1v4. And if you are tired of SoloQ - congratz, you have to play with 7 randoms instead of 3 randoms! Let alone that 2v8 is very fast-paced, this means as Survivor youi can be out of the game quickly (and some Killers tunnel quite hard in 2v8) and as Killer you wait longer, sometimes double the time, than you spend in the actual match. And as long as there are not improvements to make Survivor appealing in 2v8, it will not change.
IMO BHVR should not have brought back 2v8 until they implemented their fix (that you can play Survivor while you wait in queue as Killer for 2v8). It was a complete fail on their end to bring it back without their fix. The fix does not really change the core problem of Survivor being not fun in 2v8 and it also does not really help those people who just dont want to play Survivor (because in the end, if I queue for Killer, I want to play Killer, not Survivor), but it would have helped.

All good points and I agree with you.
The additional and most significant things that makes 2v8 less appealing than ever; Legion and Oni. Simple as that.
I accept no MMR is going to mean infuriatingly stupid team mates and I still managed to have a lot of fun in earlier iterations of 2v8. But Legion and Oni man, just absolute buzz kills.
I am looking forward to this ending so everyone is back in regular queues again.

Yeah, I dont know what they thought with Oni or bringing Legion into 2v8 in general. IMO not every Killer needs to be in 2v8 (and I think some will not be, mainly licensed ones). But Legion is one of them.
When it comes to Oni, it baffles me when I look that they introduced Oni and Ghostface at the same time. Ghostface is the weaker Killer overall and in 2v8 you have more Survivors who can break you out of stealth yet he got the smaller Buff.
Oni on the other hand is already stronger, has more people which can potentially be injured in 2v8, has it easier to find people to injure them (since there are double the Survivors, but the maps are not double the size), has another Killer who can injure for him AND potentially Legion being the other Killer. Yet Oni got the better buff.
In general, if I look at Killers like Ghostface or Trapper who are on the weaker side and then Killers like Nurse, Blight or Oni who are on the stronger side or even the strongest Killers, the latter received more and better Buffs than the first group.

Totally agree!

The problem is not that those other Killers are too weak for the average player. Most players are average to not incredible. They can still win fine.
The problem is the former Killers you mentioned are either balanced in the normal mode but buffed too far here, or NOT balanced already and become MORE unbalanced for the majority of people in 2v8.
Haste for Trapper and Ghostface in 2v8? Fine, balanced. Three blink Nurse and constant power uptime for Oni in 2v8? Unbalanced mess. This game is not and should not be balanced around higher tier upper level players, though their feedback should be noted. The game has gotta be balanced around the median average. Right now it's not quite there for 2v8 though the Devs have been trying to make it so for 1v4, which is why we are getting all these crazy fixes for things.
