It's the mask. It's ugly, it looks goofy, like someone lazily put a curved piece on the mask and called it a day.

A plague doctor style mask would be so, SO much better looking.

Just my 2 cents.

    You have to remember that they don't have the rights to GF as a character himself, they got the rights to the GF costume from Fun World. Therefore every GF mask is either one that already exists and can be bought for Halloween, or is a mask concept that is approved of by Fun World. For example, Here's an existing mask called Scorched Ghost Face:

    Look familiar? Whether or not the concept of this mask came from Fun World or DbD first, it's on sale as an actual wearable costume Right Now for $20 USD. In other words, the Nevermore Mask is either a concept currently only in DbD, or one that's being sold or going to be next Halloween season.

    TBH, I'm still hoping for this to be a cosmetic:

    Don't care for what reason the GF we have in game suddenly becomes thinner, and more dainty (Maybe he has a copycat?), At least they'll have an easier time chasing survivors… what with her less restrictive robe and all.😋
