2v8 has overstayed it's welcome
Here's the thing
Lights out was about like 4 or 5 days and choas was a week long but 2v8...two weeks yeah no I'm sorry but it's a game mode that overstays it's welcome. Atrocious queue time for killer and even then terrible killer match where you get destroyed if you don't have a legion on your team. Plus after a while I gets dull because you know what to expect. If your survivor 9 out 10 times it's legion and for killer after waiting 30 minutes you get a match where you get destroyed I try not being competitive but it kinda hard when you basically have people constantly teabagging you and pallets near windows or near other pallets and massive loops. I get they need more pallets because more survivors and such but…your making Gideon Meat Plant blush with the number of God pallets.

Then so what everyone is playing this mode so I would have to wait way longer in normal queues.

I never touch 2v8. Didn't play the last time or the time before.
I played the second instalment a total of 4 matches and that was 3 too many.
It's awful and is always survivor or killer sided never in-between.
Queue times are ridiculous and not worth the wait for a game that can last 5 mins if you're lucky.
I've been playing the normal mode and whilst longer than normal wait times I'm actually getting some straight after the previous with no wait.
I assume because others are fed up and or bored with 2v8.
And hundred percent it lasts far too long as an event.

Yeah im just not playing until its gone just like every other time. Easily the worst, most boring game mode and it ruins my queue times to boot. Seeing only a 200% BP bonus in 2v8 is absolutely laughable too, literally worse BP than regular killer games at that point.
DBD isnt a good enough game that i'll wait up to 10mins for a game let alone the longer 2v8 queues just to play the game, and the 4v1 SWF sweat fest isnt any fun either. This mode really does just ruin the game every time its active.

I want 2v8 to end simply because of Legion and Oni.
Otherwise I would be more than fine with it staying for 2 weeks but Legion and Oni completely ruin this iteration and I cant even play normal games as the queues are so scuffed because of 2v8 where I am

30 minute queue times in 2v8. 20 minute wait times in normal queue. The game is practically unplayable every time this mode shows itself.

You don’t have to lie, mate. At most, normal queues are 6 or 7 minutes at their worst. My queue times in normal are only longer by a couple minutes. I’ve been getting into matches within 5 minutes.
@jamally093People overwhelming love 2v8, myself included. Yes, there are some very much needed changes to aid with matchmaking, but when the very very simple solution to your problem is to just play the normal mode, maybe do that instead of rage posting for it to be removed.

Im not lying. You seem to forget that we don't all live in the same geographical location and don't connect to the same regional servers.

Too many of us enjoy 2v8 to just get rid of it outright and I think having the ability to still play vanilla 1v4 during these events is great for those that don't enjoy the events as much, however I think 2v8 should only come twice a year at most, and the other modifiers should not come around so often either, I feel like the modifiers are becoming too routine.

I like 2v8 but this iteration feels much less forgiving, with Legion capitalising on randoms to Oni always being in power and with no herbs etc to allow people to bounce back or anti camp for that matter.
I love this mode but the focus needs to stay on how casual friendly it is, and Legion cannot exist as they are for that reason.2 -
Your not wrong with the fact survivor you can expect Legion or Oni because they basically are OP together. It's one of those things where maybe they should swap killers out I know you can't just start looking through all of them and say okay we need to replace this character with this but wait then their OP with this character. But it also makes it where you can try new combinations or overall just not make it to the point where your basically going to have every killer available to use though Unknown and Dredge would be cool.
