Mending Mending MENDING!!

Legion in 2v8 was a mistake.

It takes longer to apply mending then it does to get rid of it.

it doesn't? LMAO You can literally go away after frenzying someone, and they mend and you can come back and hit them again half the time, which is the annoying part in 2v8 as some people don't respect the power and it eff's you over.
it's just bad design.6 -
What lol?!
It is a literal zero skill single hit that takes a less than a second and worse still, the second you have mended they can be back on you to force you to do it again. It is beyond tedious and as General said, Legion in 2v8 was a mistake, a BIG mistake

Legion in 2v8 was just a mistake, he's too strong of a support for stronger killers like Spirit, Nurse, Oni and Blight.
I'd love to see him removed or given heavy nerfs. In my 53 games of 2v8 he's been in 39. My last 10 games have all had a Legion in them. It's really ruining my hype for the mode.

Tfw legion being strongest (and only actually viable) killer in 2v8

See, there is the problem. You are mending when the legion runs away. That's not what you should do. You should run to a gen, start working on it, and wait until the mending bar is almost empty, THEN start mending. By then the legion is super far away, or chasing someone else or doing something else.
Of course if they keep chasing you, then you don't need to worry about mending, you just loop.

See my above post.

It's the same thing on 1v4 only its Ghoul every single match, so its mending simulator no matter what you play.

what? Thats what you do…. its not the worst advice… its literally the counter to legion….
And… Heal? That's also your problem, don't waste your time healing against legion.

Insta menders are the easiest prey; they are predictable because they stand still, and possibly just get restabbed.

I mean, in 2v8 you have 2 less gens to repair and 2v8 isn't really gonna be balanced anyway. But the point still stands that, legion runs around and doesn't down anyone because they are legion, oni is chasing 1 survivor, has a quicker chase, while 7 survivors are on gens?

I have coming up to 7k hours in this game, I don't need to be told how to verse Legion. Completely missing the point

Nah bro, 99% mending against Legion is actually the way to go. If you are one of the first being hit, Legion coudl easily come back to give you a second thwack and even chaindown you in the regular game (I don't remember if Legion can actually chain-down survivors in 8v2), but at the very last, hitting a survivor with endurance ticking down is still kicking Legion out of their power. Of course, its not a completely riskfree endeavor, but its probably the best tactic against Legion.

As always its a bit more nuanced, but here is how it works:
when Legion hits a survivor with their Feral Frenzy that survivor will be put into the deep wound state and all other survivors in their terror radius get lit up by killer instinct and after four hits, the 5th hit will put the next survivor into the dying state. When Legion hits a survivor who is already in Deepwound, it will kick them out of their power, and this is were the 99% juggling will come into play.
If you are the first or second survivor to be hit and you mend right away, you could finish your mending just in time to be an eligible target for the fourth or fifth hit. If you fully mend, you will once again light up with Killer Instinct on Legions screen, so if you 99% your mending, you will either go unnoticed by Legion and can hide OR get in their face and either protect another yet unhit survivor or even bait a hit, thus kicking them out of their power completely. Of course this needs to be done mindfully, if you do so in the open and away from any structure, then they will just cancel their power and down you, but it is important to know this ins and outs.
With Legion getting the 9th hit in 8v2 can be challenging, but if everybody mends instantly, then a Legion can go back for a second pass and twack everyone, wasting more time and eventually downing someone instantly. Just some food for thought.

Then stop healing and do the gens/loop injured. If the killer still deep wounds you after that, they're losing that match. Crazy how trivial the inconvenient mend becomes when you just use the game's math to your advantage.

So just stay injured against killers like Oni, Blight and Nurse then? Reminder that there are two killers in this mode.

Obviously if the legion cancels you need to start running, you don't just sit there…

Well, you guys can take advise or leave it, just do what works for you.
