New glitch/exploit when picking up survivors

Recently I have seen a huge increase in the number of cheaters/exploiters firsthand. Every other game there's a glitch where when the killer picks up a downed survivor they are not actually picked up but are now stuck floating in place where they should have been picked up. Killer is then powerless and can't put down invisible survivor for the rest of the game. Is this happening to everyone? Is it a glitch or hacks?
