Why is the killer so strong? He is way too fast for the game and it's no fun at all.

my guess is the devs purposely want to keep him a fun, easy, and strong. He’s gotten like 10 nerfs since release and is still a top 5 killer. atp all we can really do is just thug it out until springtrap comes out and then we won’t have to see Kaneki for like 3 months after Springtraps release.

There are several things which potentially could have lead to the Chapter being sold less:

    • Licensed Chapter, so people need to spend actual money on it
    • Killer-only Chapter, so no incentive for Survivor players
    • Anime not being a popular medium in DBD (there was quite a vocal community about not being a fan of Anime in DBD)

To counteract this, the Devs made the Killer strong and also very easy to use. He is not much weaker than Blight or Billy, easily a Top 5 Killer, but way simpler than many other Killers around him. This way they made sure that more people buy him and not only those who are completionists or who are fan of the Tokyo Ghoul-Franchise (or Anime in general).

Good mobility is the strongest power a killer can have.

Nurse, Blight, Wesker, Billy, Wraith are strong for how they zoom around the map.

As opposed to Dredge who can only TP to lockers.

The Ghoul's mobility is what makes him strong.

Why is nurse most op killer? Because she is free so the game cant be pay to win, now seriously he is strong but not that crazy and his mobility is now same maybe worst than blights and yes he can move fast around map (in indoor maps he will be slower) and he can get injury pretty fast but, he will have to chase you and down you with m1. He cant brute force you like blight when he breaks pallet and is right behind you in no time + he cant down ou with his power (actually he can but he needs vault something with his power just like wesker and you need to stay still for him to do it).

Wraith has good mobility but still he is joke for seasoned survivors. He needs addons and solid perks to have a chance, you can uncloak near survivor and you can bearly hit him with speedboost or he gets to window/palette. Wraith is just not map dependent and easy for beginners thats all he can offer, and some content creators claiming he is a-tier just overestimate him.

yea lets compare him to wesker (an actually well balanced killer). Hmm way better mobility, entirely free injure, power aims for you, cooldown when canceling or vaulting is half as long, and skill floor is in the basement. idk i'm starting to think op has a point…

Wesker is well balanced and harder with more limitations, that we will agree on. But still there are more busted characters with less conterplay than kaneki, idk why everybody is so obsessed and triggered with him. Ghoulmainia is over.
