Amelia has been a botanist her whole life, studying the local plants in her countryside village in 1690s Salem. She was at one point declared a Witch. She ran. As she entered the familiar woods that were her second home, the flora she had grown up with began to become stranger and stranger. Large orange pustules hanging from branches like oversized tumors, glowing from within. She was torn between her obsession and her safety. She decided a sample was worth risking her life and used a knife to cut open the pulsing sac.

By the time the men from the village had caught up to Amelia, all that they could find was a simple knife, covered in a glowing orange liquid.

It was promptly buried where it lay, the villagers not wanting to risk having any curse or devilry follow them home.

Perks:

Tangling Vines: After Opening or Rummaging a Chest, this perk activates. Use the Active Ability button when standing near a pallet to plant a seed. After 30/20/10 seconds the seed will germinate and entwine with the pallet. Every 10 seconds it is not broken, it increases the time it takes to break the pallet by 20%, to a maximum of 100% longer.

Blight Bomb: After breaking a totem, this perk activates. In a locker, press the Active Ability button to craft a Blight Bomb. Press M2 to shatter the vial at your feet, creating a sticky patch of ground that reduces the killer's movement speed by 10/20/30% while inside the radius. This effect lasts 16 seconds.

Thirst for knowledge: While being chased by the killer, the auras of chests, generators, totems, and exit gates within 8/10/12m of you are revealed. This effect persists until you lose a health state.
