What is it with certain sound files getting removed

This is a trend that I've noticed happening every so often ever since I started playing in 2017. Every so often, certain sounds will get removed. This is most common (as far as I can tell) in survivor voices.

The thing that led me to creating this post is the fact that a video came up on my tiktok fyp showcasing Jill's scream sound effects. The video featured 8 screams, only 4 of which are in the game's current build. Along with this, I have a few videos of my own gameplay shortly after the Resident Evil chapter release that features a number of Jill's effort sounds that are also no longer present in the game.

I was just curious as to why these sounds were removed? It's not like I could imagine it being a case similar to Kate's PTB voice being changed as the sounds in question were no more shrill/obnoxious than the ones still present.

    Tbf knowing the game we play it’s probably a bug that never got addressed or looked into.

    Where is a whataboutism, totally off the original OP but this is DBD and what we do to avoid anything…

    They don't even normalise sound files, Ace is still so quiet compared say to Feng.

    All they need to is turn the existing sound files up to balance survivors…
