I think it would be cool to have them as permanent gamemodes rather than just occasional.

    Chaos Shuffle, maybe.

    2v8, no, because it messes up the queue times way too much (for both 2v8 and 1v4 as well) and it would be horrible if the game was like that all the time.

    I think it would be better if 2v8 came around much more frequently, but lasted a much shorter amount of time.

    Like, instead of having it last for 2-3 weeks straight once every few months, have it happen every 2 weeks, but only for like 2-3 days.

    They are novelties. They are fun to play with friends for a couple of weekends but lose their flair. If they remained as residents in the base game, they would dry up relatively quickly and we'd enjoy their presence much, much less.
