Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Teleporting through the Springtrap doors poses no risk to the survivors, and that's why.

I've seen a lot of people saying that doors need more incentive for survivors to use them, because they pose too much risk...But in reality, they pose no risk at all. The reason is simple: a smart survivor will not use the doors if he sees that no one is being chased, he will only use the doors when he sees the "claws" saying that someone is being chased. So, using the doors poses practically no risk, so the chance of you getting a grab inside there against a smart survivor is practically zero. This is the problem with the survivor having information about everything the killer does.

maybe if they make so you mori survivors inside it would be much riskier and fun as well. Imagine being moried at start of the game that would be funny. 😂

agreed, experienced players will learn when to effectively use the doors much as we've learned how to counter other killer's powers (ex. solving lament config when pinhead picks up a slug, 99 mend against legion, etc).

Same logic as Xenomorph and grabbing a turret really...

Pretty sure Springtrap is still looking quite strong regardless as a map mobile Huntress with Undetectable and no lullaby, who can actually lob high and over tiles and still become 4.6 on demand, so I don't think this is a concern.

There are many mechanics that don't really pose a huge threat if you really know what you're doing, unless the killer plays really smartly around it and pays a lot of attention, such as the lament configuration, condemn, reverse bear traps and microsleep, etc.

I feel like a good Springtrap who makes strong reads may be able to bait/predict a door usage, and even if he doesn't, its main strength is the map traversal on demand anyway.
