Kaneki
Can someone tell me why Kaneki still has 0 cd on basic attacks after using power to vault. We have killer with better mobility than Wesker and being able to use power to vault or catch up and still instantly hit. Makes no sense. I could literally run the smallest, but safe loop with dropped pallet but still can't make it running that 2 meters for the vault before killer already hits me after vaulting.

No one can answer this, this ability was deemed to strong, so the removed it from Chucky, yet despite this they gave it to someone else, it doesn’t make sense.

you can bait the pallet drop and in many cases you can make it around the pallet/ somewhere else before he can hit you.
there's no need to nerd ghoul anymore.

He does.
It's a 1.25 sec cooldown vs Wesker's 1.5 seconds. Furthermore, he's slower than Wekser in that cooldown too (2m/s vs 2.99m/s).
Unlike Wesker, Kaneki basically has no windup though.

Im saying this as a ghoul main his vault needs to get nerfed.

True ghoul main here, every one who claims he is some killer/survivor doesnt mean he is.

You want proof lmao? Here some clips i hit while playing him by bodyblocking pallets instead of using enrage vault for easy hits.
I can give you more if you still dont believe me....

Still his vault speed isnt that huge like you can vault enraged right behind survivor on shack and he can still make it to the window without getting hit if he just runs, on weaker loops theres no need to vault it will just slow you down.

Kaneki’s design clearly walks a fine line between high impact and low counterplay… and that’s exactly why the discussion is so polarized.
He has burst mobility, a hit-ready vault, and practically no post-power downtime. Compared to killers like Wesker or Blight, who at least have visible limitations (windup, cooldown, pathing risk), Kaneki often feels like he's skipping fundamental rules of chase interaction.
The frustration isn't just power level – it's how free the pressure feels.
For context:
- The highest survivor streaks (Flap, Otzdarva, Hens, etc.) often rely on tight coordination and still collapse when a killer has good anti-loop tools.
- But top killers like Blight or Spirit don’t typically enjoy free hits post-vault unless they heavily commit or trade cooldown. Kaneki getting that for free is a problem of design symmetry.
And remember… even Chucky had this removed because it was deemed unfair. Why reintroduce it now?
This isn’t about nerfing strong killers. It’s about making sure interaction still feels earned.5
