Duty of Care perk possibly bugged?
Hello everyone,
I recently tried using the "Duty of Care" perk under the following scenario:
- I was healthy.
- I intentionally positioned myself behind a teammate who was actively being chased by the killer.
- I successfully received a Protection Hit ("Protection" notification appeared on the screen).
However, despite fulfilling these conditions, my teammate within 12 meters did NOT receive the Haste speed boost effect from Duty of Care. Interestingly, other perks like "Mettle of Man" correctly registered the Protection Hit under identical conditions.
This situation raises the question: Is "Duty of Care" currently bugged or am I misunderstanding its activation conditions?
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any clarification or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I think maybe you should play with a friend and test it out and ask them if it's working properly, if they're getting the speed boost in haste. It is sometimes hard to notice when you have the speed boost and need to pay attention to your surroundings.

I've recorded gameplay from both perspectives, and even after reviewing the footage, it remains unclear why the effect isn't being applied. T_T
