    I wish this were a thing so that I could avoid buying killers with powers that are fun in theory but boring in practice. However this seems unlikely, a good change that could easily be made though is allowing the free trial characters to be playable in custom games.

    I don't see why not.

    Thankfully the try before you buy thing is becoming more prominent what with the 2v8 and chaos Shuffle modes being themed towards certain characters to an extent

    FOR EXAMPLE i wanna get Singularity to make him my Twitch brand Killer because his default head looks derpy and cute and he walks funny and his voice came from Microsoft Sam so i wanna play him on stream but i ALSO wanna get Taurie because shes one of my favorite Survivors alongside Aestri, Bill, Ada, Rebecca, Geralt, Ciri, Sable, Leon and Vittorio and because Bill is the noisiest Survivor in the game i wanna get Taurie as my new Survivor main.

    if it's only in bot games then they should definitely add it, otherwise i get why they don't want to do that, otherwise people would just only play custom games with friends and not have to buy anything.

    I don't think vs bots is a good testing ground for how well a power works however. As i recall trying out chucky against bots when he first came out and he could barely touch them, but against players it was much easier. At most itd just be to see stuff like the trajectory of projectiles and controls etc. But if ur losing against the bots it shouldnt be taken that thats how playing the killer against players will go

    This is a tangled web and a slippery slope all in one.

    I miss the old Iri Offering idea where items would allow players to unlock and try out DLC killers in some sort of Trial mode.

    The problem is, with so many licenses and Killer coin going to different license holders, doing this would have to be original Killers only and might turn into a bit of a disaster.

    Being able to test out Killers in some sort of agreed upon "Against Bots Only" Trial mode would be wonderful - where you load in with the Killer and their base perks against a lot of easy bots designed to let you explore how the killer feels and plays before investing. Maybe offering some sort of discount on Killers if you try them out first or something. Having a TRIAL system would work - but just allowing them in customs creates a lot of financial issues that may make it more of an incomplete liability than an enjoyable addition to the base game
