Total revamp of Map selection/generation/offerings system concept.
Killers get screwed over by map generation.
Whether it be Hillbilly getting sent to Lery's, Nurse getting into a cornfield, or Trapper on the game, the random map system can severely hamper the Killer before the game even starts.
Thats not even including map generation saying "lol you get zero hooks on this side of the map, enjoy."
Offerings arent even a real option since:
1) They are single use consumables
2) You get them randomly, so even if the bloodweb decides to give you many offerings over addons, there is no guarentee it will be the ones you need, and you have just as much chance of being presented with offerings that are usless for your character.
3) 4 offering slots vs 1.
====================================================================== Problems: -Offering system is bad. -Killers get screwed too hard by map selection RNG. -Killers dont have enough control over map generation, while the Survivors have too much. Soulution: -Scrap the offering system and replace it with a Killer-Controlled Map generation menu. -All existing offerings in players bloodwebs are removed and have their BP refunded. The Killer gains a new sub-tab in the Loadout screen, Realm Influence. The Killer has 20 Influence points to spend on various things. The Killer gains bonus BP per unspent point after a trial. =================Part 1: Map Selection========================================== The Killer is presented with 4 boxes. One is clearly labled "Random", while the other 3 are shrouded. The Random box costs 0 points to pick, and picking it will send the Killer to a completley random map, as the game currently is. The 3 shrouded boxes do nothing on their own, instead needing to spend 5 points each to reveal them. Once a shrouded box has been revealed, it will become unshrouded and show a random map. Unlike the Random box option, the Killer can tell exactly what map it will be, and if they pick it they will always be sent to that map. Note that you cannot refund a revealed map, so those 5 points you spend are gone. However, after each trial all revealed maps are re-shrouded and randomized, and your points will be refunded. =================Part 2: Map Aspects====================================== Simple options to change map aspects. ==Fog Density== Clear : 5 points Thin : 3 points Normal: 0 points Thick : 1 point Dense : 2 points ==Hook Amount== +1 : 1 point +2 : 2 points +3 : 3 points +4 : 4 points +5 : 5 points ==Chest Amount== -1 : 1 point -2 : 2 points -3 : 3 points ================Part 3: Other Purchasables==================================== Other things you can buy with your Influence Points ==Survivor Spawning== Random : 0 points All Together : 1 point All Seperated: 1 point ==Keep Addons== No : 0 Points Yes: 10 points
Stuff probably needs a bit of reworking, but thats the basic concept anyways.

Not saying it’s a bad thing, but Auto Haven Wreckers would basically phase out of existence if this came to fruition.
