How...do you....play...springtrap
I'm sorry but like i am miserable right now I just want the adept but like holy hell closet I get it is at the endgame then one person escapes. By the time I get a single hook two gens are already done like I get new killer everyone is playing him so matchmaking is a little iffy but there's iffy then there's we're not going to bother tuning your matchmaking because you failed three matches have fun. Plus wanna point out
Haywire: Really garbage like it's interesting because ruin but on exit gates but increasing the regression is nice...but starting at 80% Isn't it sounds like a tier 1 perk where it's at it's weakest and at tier 3 it start regressing at 60%
Phantom fear: Nice information perk but also using the doors you gain undetectable meaning the perk is nullified so when you want information quickly sorry can't use part of your power.
Help wanted: I can't say much because gen rushing is a thing so not much use there for any form of use when I need it.
Edit: So this post was more made because I had a really bad day and well dbd isn't a great way to let off steam if playing killer makes me feel worse so you know grain of salt.

Find weak link, Proxy camp to get that survivor out of the game as soon as possible, find another weak link to get that survivor out of the game and hope by the time endgame starts, you get the other 2 survivors.

He plays very similarly to Huntress in chases. Hitting them while in the middle of an animation, throwing while right behind them, yada yada. Huntress stuff! Just dont go for fancy trickshots yet, familiarize yourself with the axe, and then become one with the axe.
Theres also no need to be trigger happy on reclaiming the axe. Take advantage of being 115% and only recall once you see a good opportunity.
Cant really give tips on the doors considering I dont really know what else there is to say.

Use the doors for free stealth hits/mobility, he gets a very long undetectable status by using them and can easily close distance on survivors for a free hit even with the loud footsteps. If you have trouble aiming the axe mid chase, save ur axe throws for when they vault or drop pallets. If ur desperate for adept, dont hook the 2nd last survivor until both are down. If the gates are powered and theres only 2 left, use the new door regression perk to your advantage and try to keep them off the doors, i chased one down from a nearly finnished door and the other just opened it so watch them closely.

Well, I did manage to get the adept, but overall I am struggling a lot.
Generally speaking I don't like ranged killers. Thought I would try to get over that in order to play Springtrap because I really like FNAF, but it seems I can't do anything with him.

He doesn’t even have to proxy camp. He can be all the way across the map pressuring a gen, chasing someone and then teleport back when unhooked

I ended up getting it eventually with the Foxy Hook and Endo CPU addons, but yea I had a lot of really rough games and its was a miserable time trying to get the Adept

People already adapted to the doors cues and prerun accordingly, no player that has more than 50 hours will give you free hits anymore.

Thats almost with all adepts exept like ghoul, nurse, blight. I struggled a lot too and many toxic survivors calling ez or other like with proxy or tunneling at the end of the game I wont get it and I will be noob. Difference is I did all adepts on all killers I have (every one exept pig) and some like skullmerchant all I did after many failed attempts is just go slug or tunnel, play dirty most times this will get solo q or weaker swf like some duos offguard and they make some mistakes more than you would play normaly with weaker killer with bad basekit perks.

Im not saying go to the door the survivor is at, im saying use the doors to get undetectable, then come at them without a terror radius from an angle they can't see, by the time they start running from the stomping sound you are alredy close enough to hit them with the axe. And since they are often focused on the door number you can get close more often

I usually only go for adepts of characters that I want to play for a long time, but I did a couple ones just for the challenge.
Funnily enough, my favorites were Huntress and Skull Merchant. Huntress because it was before the changes to the "Merciless Killer" requirements, so I got the adept even though I didn't kill all four survivors, and Skull Merchant's was the only killer adept that I got on my very first try.

When going for adepts is the one time I will play nasty.
I got Springtrap's first try and the match was over in 5 minutes. Started with an AFK Meg right next to the basement. She went on hook and for some reason everyone wanted to go for the basement save. I took full advantage.
I felt dirty after and I'm sure they were all cussing me but I'm an achievement hunter.
