ALREADY GETTING HATE AS THE NEW KILLER
this killer hasn't been out more then 5 hours now and already Survivors are trying to go next. I got multiple games where everyone just gave up or gave me lip over me being springtrap.
He's not even that op and there still complaining. I had 2 people DC because I did a Axe grab on them and say it's Cheezy to do that when that's his power

"not that op" as compared to who?
Compared to Nurse, nobody is OP.

All the complaints are about everything BUT the strength of the killer. If anything a lot of killers are still figuring out how to make him work and another section are tunneling or camping to troll with the new AFK system and others are tp'ing to multiple doors to abuse the 2 sec invisibility bug.

My first round i had a kate dc as soon as i hit her lol. Springtrap aint no kaneki its just more of a new stealth huntress, not sure what the deal is other than just seeing him too often, but to not expect 50 springtraps in a row on day one with all the new fnaf fans joining? Lol

That's kind of good to know tbh lol I want to play Pig today but was wondering if everyone would be mad when they see it's not Springtrap. Maybe they won't mind afterall..

Survivors are unhappy that they can't beat him, since he is new and they have not learned his power or how to play around it.
But it's so ingrained in the Survivor play style; Either win, or use any excuse to DC while saying 'It's not my fault I have to DC!'
I see it from Survivor team mates when I pub:
First down? Quit on hook.
Found 'too fast'? That's a quit!
It's a Killer the player does not want to learn to counter? Hook DC!
It's a perk the player hates? Time to run at the Killer to hook DC!This game has, for years, fostered this mindset that Survivors will win, or they can hook DC to avoid DC penalties.
Now that Go Next is a thing; They are acting like children told 'No, you can't do that.' for the first time after 8 years of getting whatever they want.BHVR has capitulated to Survivor demands for years: Anti camping was made basekit (To avoid the precious Survivor META); Anti tunneling was made basekit; Slugging would be 'looked at'.
Every time Survivors complained, BHVR gave them what they wanted. So now that they can't hook DC to avoid Killers they hate & new Killers they don't want to learn; They are angry they have to play the game.

I haven't even gotten to see the new Killer. Has me wondering if people are even buying the Chapter.

Oh people are all over this chapter like it's a new candy store

I don’t think he’s OP. I am tired of seeing him though. I don’t say anything about that because I expect it especially on day one. I mean you have to expect it on day one, but if it was like day 10 and that’s still all, I’m seeing and I’m not getting any other killers I would probably complain at that point. I can’t really understand people complaining on day one though like it’s expected that the new killer is be what you’re gonna see. I had one match Michael and every other single match has been against the new killer, but I’ve expected it so there’s nothing to complain about in that regard.

Just wait, this is gonna be like Wesker again, if not worse

Which killer then, because someone can just say Trapper and every killer is OP.
4 -
People are probably just tired of seeing him. He is far from overpowered, not even close.
1 -
That is also what I was asking.
Who are we comparing to?
4 -
Seems to depend on how bugged he is and what addons you run, tbh.
1 -
Pig?

Probably OP compared to Pig
2 -
he's op? ello

Nah springtrap is cool as hell. Honestly... the only real thing I can think of is can complain about is whwn he comes out the door. From my perspective I don't even see him or hear him until he's winding up a are to throw at me. Like... it's immediately present.
Not sure if it's a ping thing or what but tocme it's instant. Other than that. He's fair to go against

Springtrap is one of the fairest killers to launch in a LONG time, but I do think they get to go undetectable for too long, too often. I get it's for the "jumpscare" vibe, but…it overdoes it just a tad. 10 seconds of undetectable is PLENTY. 20 is excessive. Other than that, fun killer to go against with fair powers.

20 is fine. 10 just makes it useless; you either leave on top of them (whats the point?) or approach from another door with a terror radius instead.
20 seconds gives him time to mix it up and come from a nearby door rather than right on top of a location.

I'll take your pig!
Played 10 last night 8 springtrap, 1 blight & a trickster all all people.
I don't think i'll ever be as sick of seeing any killer as I was Wesker (still stop playing if I get 2 wesker in a row) but how survivors thought this wouldn't happen is beyond me.
Regardless who the killer was in a killer only chapter a lot of players will play that killer.

- My only complaint is that he's an unoriginal killer. It's like Huntress and Sadako had a baby... and that baby is Springtrap🤣. i mean, after playing 10 games in a row, you'd want something different, but it's normal that he's super popular now🤷♂️

He is not. He has the highest skill ceilling in the game meaning he takes alot to just learn His Power. He's only OP to you because 1 ur new to DBD and not understand his power. 2 ur one of them survivors who don't want to learn the game so you remand unneeded nerfs. The Haste stuff was understandable but his basic Kit is way harder to use than you think. If you got hit from far away was probably by accident and not on skill. This killer just released so of course everyone is playing him

1 i've been playing since pre huntress on console 2 the quote was "he's op?" the ello was a typo i was too lazy to get rid of 3 i thought it was known on the forums that i play killer and ask for killer buffs despite playing solo 4 springtrap is going to get dunked on harder with swf since they can also use his teleporter so him specifically can be gen rushed harder than the average killer

That makes more sense.

No…10 seconds would be fine. You shouldn't be allowed TWENTY seconds to scramble halfway across the map to find someone COMPLETELY undetectable. Killers already have enough BS ways to read auras, speed up, expose survivors, etc…10 seconds is plenty to set up a proper, skillful ambush……not get spoon fed a hit after you have enough time to explore half the map to find a survivor.
