Movement Bug? Killer Stops Moving For A Moment (PC)
Hello!
Ever since the update I've noticed that when I'm playing killer every once in awhile, maybe 2-3 times per match, my character will stop moving for a very brief period of time, about a quarter of a second, and then I can move again.
- I've tested this on two different PC's and 3 different keyboards and it consistently happens
- It doesn't happen when playing survivor
- It seems to only effect going forward (W key)
- It happens in custom games as well as regular online games
- It doesn't happen in any other games
- In 400 hours of playing DBD I've never run into this until today
- It happens on all killers that I've tested
Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and if there are any solutions. Really enjoying the update otherwise, thanks!

i did twice once on cold wind and the second on swamp it felt like springtrap hit the breaks and slowed it a crawl and felt terrible

I just had a round as Houndmaster where towards the end of the round all of a sudden my movement became completely broken. I was stutter stepping, go stop go stop go stop go stop. It didn't matter which direction I was facing. Before it was only W but this round it was all directions. It's unplayable unfortunately.
I just tested a controller and the same problem is there too.

Yes! Thank you, I felt like I was going crazy. In fact I just left a game as Houndmaster (I was just playing against bots) because this started happening about 5 minutes into the match. This is exactly what I'm talking about, hope a dev sees it!

Yeah its most likely rubber banding caused by the server itself. It's happened in the past where a survivor would vault and rubber band in place briefly or sometimes just happened to killer.
