Changes that need to be done to fix the game's balance

Hello

The way Dead by Daylight is now is pretty likely the single most unbalanced and one sided state it has ever been in, and this WILL kill the game if not fixed sooner than later.

And as such i have some changes that should be made-

1 ) Improved tutorial system, the new one needs ro teach survivors gen efficiency and how effective just sitting on gens can be.

2 ) adding a chat wheel similiar to what DbD mobile had, this would add the ability for solo q to communicate and close the gap between solo q and SWF

3 ) reverting MANY of the recent killer nerfs, especially to slowdown and regression, anti-3 gen shouldn't begin counting down until there are only 2 generators remaining.

4 ) Buffing pretty much the entire killer roster besides Nurse, Blight, Billy, Dracula and Singularity.

EVERYONE else needs buffs of some kind, in some cases just basekit addons, in some cases proper reworks

Finally every single map in the game needs to be made better for killer, with less pallets, weaker tiles etc

    no hate but the game is genuinely in a very balanced state, the issues comes from unsolvable things like SWF's with full voice comm which is always gonna be strong, weaker killers DEFINITELY need buffs cause they're way behind and there's god awful maps that could use changes or shrinkage (cough cough greenville). But otherwise the game is MOSTLY fine right now, there's no boring braindead slop meta like with CoB + Overcharge meta or old Circle of Healing.

    There actually is a new braindead meta, just using exhaustion and second chances.

    A single use of an Exhaustion perk means the killer loses too much time on chasing you (in order to win by spreading hooks, mathematically the killer would need to finish every chase in under 15 seconds, a single use of an exhaustion perk should buy free 20+ seconds on top of the actual chase.

    Which means the killer needs to tunnel, but that is no longer possible because every single match the survivors use STB and 4x DS

    So you cannot spread hooks, you cannot tunnel, you cannot slug as that gets countered by just picking up the survivor and doesn't give any permanent pressure. All you can do as killer is pretend you are playing a comp match and play for stages even if you get 3 or 4 outed

    Heyyyy..... dracula needs his red addons buffed lol they don't do anything.

    The exit gate gauntlet has so many requirements to be met to get 1 second of value in the entire trial, if it even works at all. Its one of those addons thats so bad that the survivors say "lol i love that addon" after they all run past the free light show.

    And the ring thats supposed to curve your helfire toward the target, simply lowers the projectile range and curves like 1-2% to a point where it doesn't do anything but nerf your power lol

    I definitely disagree that the entire killer roster exceot those that you mentioned need to be buffed. Vecna was just buffed and is now in a pretty much perfect spot. Killers like Wesker, Oni, Twins, Huntress or Artist do not need any buffs either.

    Also gen regression perks are still pretty strong, I don't think they need any buffs. If anything, basekit objective times of survivors could be looked at, but only once the anti-camping and anti-tunneling changes have been implemented.

    I do kinda agree, oni, vecna , plague , artist and Singu are all killers i'd say are overall im a good spot, but not quite perfect. Artist and Plague have been bugged for years, BHVR struggling to figure out what to do with Oni flicks etc are still things that need improving, and so these killers would still get "buffed"

    But even then, thats the S tier and like half of A tier, majority of killers are massively below this in terms of strenght

    I mean sure Artist and Plague could use bug fixes but I wouldn't classify those as actual buffs. Oni if anything should have his flick be limited to 90 degrees again if you ask me, so a tiny nerf.

    There certainly are still some killers that need buffs but it's not that many anymore in my opinion. Also a killer like Legion probably shouldn't be buffed considering his rather low skill floor and skill ceiling.

    swf can have an action speed nerf that's increased the more survivors that are in a group

    While that would be hilarious, the basic issues of the game come down to the actual balance between survivors and killers. All survivors have access to the same strong things SWFs get, if it's problematic with one, it's problematic with both, only difference is that normal survivors don't realize just how strong they are

    survivors have a ui that's on par with swf. the average survivor just doesn't take advantage of it and rush gens at every opportunity.

    dbd is literally balanced on survivors being bad at focusing on gens since all killers suffer from gen speeds to varying degrees and killers can't turn off gens (yet)
