What's the point of Luck now?
Perks that affect it got nerfed (Up The Ante from 3% to 1% per Survivor), luck is no longer a thing affecting gameplay unless you bring an offering or a Perk. What's the point of keeping it? Either expand upon it with chests for example or remove it, it has been 9 years and luck is still pretty much pointless.

Behaviors decisions are not understandable.
There was nothing wrong with having 3 self unhooks tries basekit. It‘s just another survivor nerf, removing content and decision making from one side.
There would be so many ways to solve the give up problem but behavior decided to do the most boring, frustrating and easy way, which was definitely also the worst way.
Up the ante didn‘t even deserve any type of nerf and it also doesn’t make sense to nerf it, because they wanted to stop giving up on hook, which was made more difficult with this perk. A lower chance to unhook yourself just makes giving up easier.

I get why it's been done but I do not think it was the right thing to do either

Yeah, I don't get it either. At this point the Luck mechanic needs a massive overhaul or to be outright removed.

did luck affect something other than rarity and hook chances? because prior to this as far as i knew it did nothing but those things because no one used luck offerings before this or just rarely

Luck didn't even affect rarity, it only literally affected hook chances haha

I think it used to affect untrapping yourself from bear traps, but I think it got removed a long time ago.

Wait, really?! Have I been misguided this whole time?

i forget that's a thing since trapper is rare also slippery meat used to do it i think it still does

Luck doesn't affect bear traps anymore, they removed that years ago

Luck has been outdated for years now. It really should have been removed.
