ok, it’s clear there are issues with go next and afk.
I want us to help with coming up with a better solution.

My solutions are as follows:

Go next

  1. Give survivors 1 shot to get off the hook in first state at a 10 percent rate with a 15 second penalty. Luck add ons gives you a second chance with a 5 second timer penalty.
  2. There is no skill checks. You must either wait it out of be saved unless camped.

That’s it. All you need. No dc penalty, nothing like that.

as far as the crows, my thoughts are first to leave it as it was. If you want to improve it and keep it do as follows:

10 second timer. Running, the act of cleansing, opening chests, doing gens, being within the killer radius, or within so many feet of a hooked survivor all stop the progress. Not slow, stop.

Think about a typical map. Ok, I start with other survivors now, I usually chose not to work on the gen closest to us. I run to find a further gen, now if the killer comes my way, i get off that gen and run (probably far) to a different one. Now especially after a few gens are popped, I may not know where all the gens are so it takes me a second to find one. By this time I’m in the game, playing, but I have a crow.

mid you want to penalize crouching in a bush or locker from across the map, this option would do that but allow others to still play with minimal game play changes.
