Vecna's unnecessary nerf in 9.0.0
Don't get the wrong idea, the recent changes were a HUGE buff, but why randomly nerf the fly-end cooldown?
Fly was by far the most skill expressive spell, now you can only really use it for distance and body blocking.
Vecna is SO close to being perfect, these are the only changes he needs (then he can be left alone forever)
- Fly doesn't cancel when going over vaults
- Revert nerfs to fly-end cooldown
- Revert Potion of Speed back to -0.35
Additional changes:
- Raven's Feather duration increased to 1 second (was 0.5)

Disagre, he needs that nerf since he can fly much farther and faster now there has to be a larger window for survivors to have a chance to do something.

His fly is really obvious, if you're out in the open or on a gen even with the nerfs they would be taking a hit. The problem is, these nerfs deny him a part of his looping power. At the very least make Potion of Speed usable, 0.1 renders the addon non-existent.

The problem is, he can M1 you, then use Fly to negate any distance you got from getting hit.

personally he needed this kit adjustment and he’s much for smooth for game play now, he’s now more a tier killer thanks to these buffs and nerfs and im glad

As does any killer who has a traversal ability available during chase , kaneki is a good example of this , same with onyro ( provided tv’s are on that the survivor is running towards)

It wasn't a random nerf. It was done on purpose, to weaken his ability to zone survivors with the Fly spell.
The recent Vecna changes are an overall nerf, and he was nerfed because the latest stats show him as having a really high kill rate.

Just because alot of his addons (that were added to basekit) were nerfed doesn't mean that Vecna was nerfed in fact he's a lot stronger than before cuz his Fly is 20 seconds cooldown and he can instantly use it

Fly is now better as utility, but worse for actually getting hits. And getting hits is much more important than utility.
BHVR released stats that showed Vecna as having the 2nd highest kill rate on average. They aren't going to actually buff him, when his kill rate is so high.

Makes his ability more of a movement utility rather than a Chase mechanic that's fine.

I don't have enough of a coherent grasp on the basekit changes but why they decided to nerf add-ons that they already nerfed not too long ago again is beyond me. Like OH BOY ONE SECOND OFF ALL SPELL COOLDOWNS, SO COOL. People will definitely use that one!
Like is this killer just not allowed to have good add-ons? Why did he get the Pyramid Head treatment? Do we understand math at BHVR?
