9.0.0 made offerings an issue

Hi! Hope everyone is doing fine.

I want to start a discussion here on how 9.0.0 changed offerings, in parts, for worse.

The most central change: the shrouds. They have a heavy influence on the match, are secret offerings and can change drastically how a match will play out. Whenever i'm playing killer i feel that i should use the Shroud of Vanishing to prevent a possible shroud offering from the other side; and whenever i'm playing survivor i feel that i'm not going with it all if i don't use the Shroud of Separation.

The Shroud of Separation creates a big advantage for survivors, specially against setup killers like Hag or Trapper. Survivors starting completely spread out makes into a big disvantage for killers, since they will need to pressure 4 points of the map at once, which is impossible. This create an absurd gen pressure in the start of the match that is hard to turn around. If you need to setup a little bit before going for chases - like Hag, Trapper or even Skull Merchant - you can be sure that you will lose 2 to 3 generators in the middle of the first chase if you are not using corrupt intervention. Because of this, Shroud of Vanishing (the killer offerings) turns into an OBRIGATORY offering for killers, what is insane! We did a 360 degree turn and went back to the Sacrifical Ward versus Map Offerings change, now with Shroud of Separation vs Shroud of Vanishing.

Another thing is the amount of offerings that turned into secret offerings. I can understand why map offerings become secret - since it can induce some people into griefing - but shroud and hatch offerings should always be visible, because they give an advantage to one side. While reagents and Mori are not a problem, Hatch and shrouds can drastically change how a match will play out.

That is it for now. I think there is more things to say but i'm really upset that Offerings are becoming an issue with this patch, specially after the healthy change to Map offerings.
