Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Are you encountering a lot of Ghoul matches yourself? I've yet to play or try the event yet.

    Yeah

I played about 12 games and 6 of them were ghoul. Rest were mostly Springtrap and the odd other killer.

No Springtraps? Are we done with the new killer already?

Suprice me how long it will take so there will be mont without kaneki being op and unfair post.
He is strong killer but he has still counterplay just rush gens and go for strong loops, waste his time as much as you can and try to dont lead him into your teammates with higly progressed gen, if he tries cut you of with power just wait and then change diretion the way he came or some place with lot of blockers like main it will make it much harder for him to get you, he can slide only on first dash then he cant so he must be much more accurete with his leap you can still do more against him than against nurse, blight, singularity.

I totally despise playing against him, I truly hate him. I came back to play after a 2 weeks break because of Kaneki and sweat lords killers slugging and tunelling for the 4k, and I thought that break would somehow lower my mmr or something to have more chill matches, but here i am, slugged on the ground, trying to play a normal event match šŸ˜ƒšŸ”«

For ghouls insanely low skill floor (NOT ceiling…), he should not be as effective as he is. Dude is being commonly placed in S tier with the likes of nurse and blight, or at LEAST strong A tier, while being 50 times easier to use….

Along with Wesker, my most hated killer in the game by FAR. (Wesker isn't a matter of OP…I just think he was a crap choice for a horror game killer =X )

i love playing against wesker, honestly. if every game was against a wesker i'd be pretty happy. tons of counterplay against him. even when you lose you genuinely should feel like you at least had a chance. against ghoul its just like playing against a toddler most of the time that has a free "i win" button because you weren't near a pallet or vault the moment he decides to be within 60 meters of you.

oh yeah for sure, I don't think Wesker is OP at all. He is plenty fair (unlike ghoul who is grotesquely OP for how easy he is) I just…like him in Resident Evil, not in DBD world XD

He's not so bad since the new guy came along.

Funny thing is, I'm running an anti Springtrap build and yet I'm hardly getting any (Sprint Burst, Vigil, Premonition, Plot Twist. If anyone has a better one, I'd like to hear it).

But the one time I do decide to take it off, I finally get a Springtrap >:(

seems to be. I’ve gone against maybe 2 or 3 springtrap’s today out of my like 20 or so matches. a lot of blights and kaneki’s. seems the devs didn’t gigabuff springtrap high enough to keep a high pick rate like how it was with chucky, dracula and kaneki

I mean springtrap is at best a low A tier killer, he just doesnt offer as much mastery and fun as those other killers. Not to defend ghoul, that broski is obnoxious.

It wouldn't be so bad if most ghoul players didn't insist on hard tunneling so much. Like ghoul is either the 3rd or 4th strongest killer depending on where you put Billy but out of those top 4 killers Ghoul is easily the one with the lowest skill floor and is incredibly forgiving which lets the LCD (lowest common denominator) of the killer base use them and just be as obnoxious as possible and not really have to worry about being punished for making mistakes.

I'm okay with Kaneki being as strong as he is but make him get punished for making mistakes more often, feels terrible out playing a ghoul consistently and losing anyway because he makes covering distance a joke and at some point you do just run out of pallets.

There isnt free win killer not even nurse is free win if she was her killrate would be super high both in low and high mmr which usnt the case. Ghoul is strong a-tier he was s-tier only after release but his counterplay isnt much easier than nurse or blight, he is just m1 with easier injury with range (14 meters or so) and mobility simular to blight ( I think after the nerfs of range on leap he is little worde than blight) but he cant down you with power only get clouse to you or even block you ( you can play around it by not running into dead zone or just running back to direction he leaped from, he can slide on first leap then he cant slide which is easier to get distance on him to get to the next loop) but this has some couterplay basicly treat him like he was blight which means he is hard to shake of. He can sometimes get clouser to you then blight but thats intended because he cant down you with power, paletts are more stronger against him than against blight or sometimes wesker because he cant brute force you ( break palett and then get you with his power before you can get to next loop), his vault isnt guarantee hit as many players think if he vault shack right after you, you can make it back to window if you hug the loop he wont be far but you will make it ( when enraged his vault is faster than wesker but after the vault me moves slower, this is part of his antiloop). Overall henis strong but not crazy just do gens and buy as much time for the team you can same as against nurse or blight, wesker.

Ghoul itself is not the issue.
Facing him nonstop to farm BP and get 0 cakes out of it is.

Just played against a ghoul, horrible game on swamp, 4 gens litterally a leap apart, with hard tunneling, (picked wrong target she smoked him!)

First ghoul I've seen this month though! (Blessed I know) only played against 3 spring trap in my 30 survivor games today too,

Wish the stats website (when it works) tracked which killers / survivors you played against / with & your survival / kill rates against them

I do keep my own, but still less work for me would be nice!

I mean only change I think is ok with him is make his vault same as wesker but this wont make much difference maybe few meters, his second nerf to his charges was not necessary and if you nerf his range with leap or his slide he will feel terrible even now people who played him before his first nerf can see the 2 meters difference. Funniest thing is most people who want him to get hard nerff are the same ones that claim blight hug tech was ok and not super easy broken mechanic he doesnt need ( thats like giving nurse third blink if she lands hit with obe blink and then she has to do it again to get it, his hugtech could outplay like 90% of the loop structures or more and he is still second strongest killer in the game without it).
