The Game has become much Much harder
I've been noticing a huge Difficulty Spike in my matches lately sense the Go Next Pervention System. I might know why it's much harder for 3 reasons
"Reason 1: sense now players are now forced to stay in matches it's now showing not only the Killers Real Skill but also Survivors. I find this good because it will show actual Kill Rates for Killers and give them the Nerfs or Buffs they need to make them better.:"
"Reason 2: The Spawning System is Spawning Survivors much closer together making finding Survivors take longer and by the time you find someone they already done two Gens. Honestly I think this maybe a good thing for survivors but not for Killer because this add another reason and that's Killers are kinda made to play much harsher to Keep up:"
"Reason 3: the game is massively unbalanced on both sides at the moment. Survivors can just Heal in 2 secs after unhooking a survivor and stuff becoming basekit for survivors and nothing Basekit for Killers will make it much much harder for Killers who need Injures to be Functional. Killers are having new Abilities without much counter play making playing Survivor harder. But once we get used to the new Systems I'm sure it will be fine once stuff Settles:"
I don't see these reasons bad if I had to blame anything for the game being harder it was the Go Next Epidemic and those who started it. I know this will be hated but I as a Killer main this made me mad for Survivors who did actually Tried and now they suffered from the rath of the bugged Go Next Pervention System when it was released.

Didn't Mandy just confirm that the kill rates haven't changed?

Since is the word you're looking for

Reason#2 is good for killers. If survivors are spread out they can be more efficient. I think everything will go back to normal in about a week or two after everyone gets used to the new updates
13 -
Exactly, the biggest nightmare for killer are survivors working separately on 3 gens

Reason #1 does not hold up the way you think it does. If someone wants to go next, they will not play in that match. I had a Renato go into 2nd state yesterday because I was on hook, someone was injured, and the healthy person was hit on the way to save. He ended up going into 2nd from it and ran around the map throwing every single pallet and then running in circles. The killer ignored him and he was the last alive and could’ve gotten hatch. :))))))))) thankfully he didn’t.

Tbh Im getting faster gens than before even when I play survivor more people are now aware spreading on gens is strong and fast, true it isnt fast as two or more people doing gen but after one and half minute there goes two gens after 30 seconds there goesn third one then thers big pause and last two go same if there are 4 survivors alive sometimes even 3 survivors can do them fast.

Another possible reason is the huge influx of new players coming in with the FNAF chapter giving the MMR system a chance to actually work for a change.
I've been having more even match ups on Killer, with a surprising number of close 2K games and some relatively chill Survivor games. I won't say "easier" Survivor games, because even though the Killer is often a bit less experienced, so are my teams. I'm still not escaping very much. But given my low escape rate, this is more in line with what I'd expect of my teammates and Killer opponents.

My experience has been pretty one-sided in favor of the killer. As killer, I do well even against survivorswho are better players than I am. As survivor, which I'm a little better at, I die and die and die and die. I played 11 games last night. In 10 of them, I died. They were mostly 4ks.
My one "escape" was from the killer DCing. Unintentionally I'm guessing, cause he was slaughtering us.
I am forever baffled by survivors who cluster on the first gen they see just to get interrupted and scatter. The best case scenario is finishing a single gen. If four people are on four gens and rhe killer engages the first one they come across, that's three more being worked on. It seems simple to me, and I always go further into the map for my first gen. I almost always get it done too.

- I don't want to criticize your post, but to say that if the survivors appear together on the map it is a "nerf" to killer, is really wrong. But then you are talking about "fast healing" .We'll Make It has been in the game for a very long time allowing a healing in 8 seconds (truly phenomenal) and never anyone complained ... now suddenly it has become a huge problem? Come on, if you win/lose a match it's not because of the speed of healing. And it was also just confirmed by forum moderators that the kill rate hasn't dropped at all, so….what exactly are we talking about?

going to post this as it is very accurate in explaining what is going on with the games currently and hits what i believe but in a much clearer way then i can:

It seems more difficult to play as a killer, but it might just be a skill issue on my part. I'm trying to get good with Springtrap, but I'm failing miserably. All I encounter are survivors who pre-run before I can teleport to them, and they’re really good at dodging my attacks. I’m lucky if I even manage to get a 2K. I don’t tunnel or camp, and I also avoid using slowdown perks, so combined with my lack of skill as this killer, it’s a frustrating experience!

I got about halfway through the video so far, I'll watch the rest later. This guy makes a couple good points, but overall... not really. His section on healing compared modern day healing under the hook with resurgence to old COH.
Getting healed with resurgence is fast, no doubt...but it only comes into play after the person who has it equipped is unhooked. It's not going to really affect the hit and run killers like Wraith like he said. Old COH was strong because 1 person's perk could continuously provide massive benefit to the whole team essentially at all times. Even if all 4 ppl equip resurgence... its not helping them heal faster if a Wraith smacks them and leaves.
As far as faster games with Springtrap goes, I feel like thats legitimately player skill. I've been playing him myself and on the games where I lose... I honestly feel its because I didn't play very well. Theres plenty of room for improvemen. I feel once people start actually start being honest with themselves in that there's room to improve and they arnt gods at the game, they'll start having a more positive attitude.

I just played hit and run Wraith the other day and people kept healing so fast that it wasn't doing anything to pressure them. It also didn't help that the map had 5000 pallets (movie theater one)

Without some video or something, I can't really comment on your gameplay. Did you look at the survivor perks at the end? If your just hitting them and leaving, but not really pressuring the rest... its possible they were just group healing at normal speeds.

I've just seen that and it's basically the thing I'm talking about. I know him I watch his stuff. I don't think the games harder because of game Design or op stuff it's that now we are able to play Normally now and no one's used to it anymore

I disagree with this. My games feel the same as they ever have. You have some tough ones, you have some easy ones, and you have some close ones. I'm still winning like 90% of my games with Spirit. Sometimes you have to do a bit of tunneling or slugging for pressure, but that's always been the case. I try not to do it during the event because everyone's using cakes and everyone should have a chance to make some BP. I don't just "let them win," but I don't go all out, either.
I like TheMrHeadache. He makes good content, and he got me into Xeno. However, he's not exactly a comp player. He's not even THAT good with Xeno. When I compare his skill with Xeno to, say, Remylea's skill with Spirit, it's not even close. Rem hits like 95% of her phases. MrHeadache whiffs his tail attack as often as he hits. Sure, he's better than the average xeno user, but that's not saying much.
Maybe games are getting tougher for lower tiered killers like Xeno, to which I say… Good. I don't think that the Xeno's, Legion's, and Clown's should be rocking a 90% kill rate and be breezing through most of their matches. Because that means that the survivors are just getting stomped, which isn't good for the game.
And it's going to get worse before it gets better once the anti-tunnel hits, whatever that is and whenever that happens. And that's a good thing. Because then underperforming killers can get real buffs that actually make them feel good to play instead of inflating their kill rate with survivors dying early, whether that's through going next or tunneling.
But there's going to be some growing pains, and there's no way around it.

I was kind of expecting to see more of that. The video DID make a good point about the anti-go next. So many games where 1 guy who gave up a hook states early ended up being close for awhile... then led to an early death. People might just be feeling what its like to not be having those hookstates flushed down the drain over and over.

Honey, play more soloQ survivor please, it's really hard to escape especially for the new challenge, Anni event is even more hardcore for solo survivors thanks to insta hooking and distant pallet breaking, plus crazy camping/tunneling happens there each match by "Blights" in my matches

If anything, as killer it has become even easier than before, making it just harder for survivors again. this is a quite poor bait from you. this was discussed hundreds of times by now, so there is no need to claim something unreasonable and against common sense.
Reason 1 doesnt affect anything. Those people just dont do anything even though theyre "forced" to stay in the game. Theyre even less useful than bots.
Reason 2 is actually the total opposite. Survivors spawning together is a huge buff to killers as survs are robbed of their chance to work on separate gens for the most effective way.
Reason 3 is only half-true. Fast healing hasnt been an issue since old COH, while killers get handholding-mechanics every update. Complaining about REsurgence? just equip Sloppy and chase them off for 2seconds, so all their progress is gone.
-1 -
It can be a calculated risk. If you can finish that first gen fast once you spread out there's only four left. Then if the first chase goes a decent length you could be at 1 gen after 1 hook. Generally it won't happen that way but it can be worth a shot.
2 -
Numbers are abit off. It wouldn't be 4 gens popping if the killer is chasing someone.
Edit, nvm... i see what you mean now. It's still not likely since your not likely to all spawn on a 4 man gen though.

Tbh I've been on a losing streak for a few days, I assumed because of sleep deprivation (baldur's gate induced) but there have been a lot of changes that make it hard for me to actually start matches off strong. Like the spawn logic does stop survivors instantly spreading out but that also makes it harder to spot them so I can spend a full minute of my match trying to find them and only find one after a gen pops. Then there's the buffs to healing and stuff and I just can't keep up sometimes. I only played one match of the event and just kinda decided I'm not playing for a few days because it was awful. I play for chase, but I so often get forced to play macro that I just don't enjoy it. The annoying thing is, I can see myself having won many of the matches I lost, if I tunnelled, but because I played nice I get BM'd at the exit gate.

I was thinking a 3 man gen but yeah it's not likely to play out that well.

This mirrors my experience especially the always getting BMed part even when playing fair

Otz has a good thread on this regarding nightlight stats the other day. Kill rates are going wonky

Yep you said it all if you really play survivor for multiple hours how can you come up with this conclusion that survivor is OP, it's dying simulator… i'm sorry game is still relatively easy for killer, you shouldn't win 100% of the time like some blight mains, if you take some Ls it means game is finally balanced

I have almost exclusively played killer outside of a very few amount of games over the past week and it has been absolutely miserable. Games so unbelievably easy I don't even have the game sound on anymore, I just listen to youtube or music. 4Ks at 4-5 gens after hooking 9-12 times, 20 game winstreaks without even trying, I specifically went out of my way to stop even killing survivors because the games have been so easy, just letting them all escape after 8 hooking. Didn't even tunnel a single time (did have a few people kill themselves on hook though). Playing multiple killers. The game is extremely easy, killers are basically handed games on a silver platter.
-1 -
Exactly. Plus Corrupt has always been my #1 slowdown of choice, it brings my initial patrol area down to 4 gens. My first chase starts before anyone has even touched a gen. Them spawning together only works more in my favour.

I do play survivor actually thank you very much I just play Killer more because it's fun

You are 100% trolling and everyone knows it. Show us just one video of your amazing gameplay and I will believe it.
