Haven't played in a week; 1 disconnect = 15 minute ban?
Is this intended? I haven't played DBD in over a week. I just disconnected from a match to join a friend who hopped on and I don't ordinarily disconnect from games. I'm not sure if the last time I played (whenever that was) if I'd disconnected then — but regardless, it's been at least seven days. I had a 15 minute ban though, which doesn't make any kind of sense to me.

You have to sit through the DC timer I think, if you don't try to join and set off the timer it will be waiting for you next time you start the game. So I guess you had a 15 minute ban last time you played and you just closed the game

That… is wild. Surely the goal is to get the bad actor to stop queueing in during that session and to take a break from the game. So if in theory I close the game and come back 15 minutes later, it's the same in effect? It should at the very least have a fall-off. I cannot imagine a reason why, a week later, I should have to sit through a 15 minute timer.

From what I understand the game now won't start the dc timer until you try queue for another game, (once the timer starts you can close the game)
Haven't Dc'd myself but i've been told that by a couple of people recently & read similar online

Afaik, the DC penalty only regresses through playing. You can't sit it out. There was even something about having to play 20 matches for it to go down (one level?).
