How long can appeals take.

I had someone in my family who was using my Steam library through Family Sharing, and their account got banned for exploiting a bug in a game of DBD. As soon as I found out, I removed them from my Family Sharing list.
Now, my account has a Game Ban, and it looks like it was triggered because of the Family Sharing connection. I’ve submitted an appeal and explained the situation, but I’m wondering: how long does it typically take to get a response to a Game Ban appeal? Has anyone gone through a similar situation?
I have already put my appeal in and its been 4-5 days no response.
