Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Springtrap should be slowed while aiming his axe.

I don't think it needs to be a drastic slow, but similar to Huntress or Houndmaster when they aim (or any other killer with an ability to aim). I think that it's silly that Springtrap can hold his axe up and not lose any distance no matter how long he holds it.

    He already is slowed

He IS slowed, its just not as much as Huntress. He moves at like 96% survivor speed, but generally survivors are weaving left and right to dodge it... so he can still close in on you.

He shouldn't be slowed as much as huntress. Huntress has greater range and more axes to throw than he does.

I’m more concerned at how he looks when aiming. On a survivors screen he could be facing forward at 12 o’clock, but still hit you while you’re at 3 o’clock. His body nor his head turns. It’s very misleading.

He can't get any slower than he already is, the huntress is slow because she has 7 axes, and if she misses, she can try again, if the springtrap misses, he has to wait for a huge cooldown, so it makes sense that he doesn't get so slow while he's using the axe.

I think this might be a thing with the game generally. I think I remember seeing something about how survivor and killer actions are desynced a lot of the time. So like sometimes survivors will crouch on their screen but appear to be standing still on the killer's POV.

He's 110% speed with the axe and his axe is not meant to be carried around forever like a Huntress axe. it's meant to be recalled, thrown, and played with as a dual purpose AOE tool AND an anti-loop tool.

I would say that means he's probably fine where he is.

Springtrap is 92%. The same as most killers holding their power, including HM.

Mandy confirmed the Devs are happy with where Springtrap is at and have no plans to make any changes to him
