What is going on? Starting yesterday I keep getting this stupid "online" error messages that dump me to the main screen.
Now crossplay is off and I can't seem to find how to turn it back on? Is this widespread?
Either im blind or the option is gone.

Matchmaking for xbox has been broken for a little while but bhvr is aware of it

Maybe they'd like to do something about it too?
There have been massive matchmaking and server issues the entire event. That, coupled with the new DC penalty system, has made it outright PUNISHING to play during the supposed biggest event.

Can confirm its still screwed up this morning, I could just play on steam or ps but i've played on xbox exclusively for years now why should I have to & worse still for those that can't!
The silence (beyond one post saying their investigating, over 24 hours after it started & nothing since) is staggering if not especially surprising.
& that was on twitter, I need twitter for work, but a lot of people don't use it, some kinda note on here might have been helpful to those stopping by!

Link for cross progression?
I linked all my accounts a few days ago, can confirm it works as intended on PlayStation, haven't tried steam because I work on pc & laptops all day I don't game at all on them these days, & I've never been a mouse / keyboard player.
My son has jumped to ps4 but its hardly a great experience (doesn't have a ps5) I wanted to put in the effort this event but if they can't fix their mess I'm not going to bother playing the game,
I can technically get on the game after multiple attempts with no cross play so it is technically playable but it kicks back to loading after virtually every game I just don't have the good will or desire to put up with it.

Update
Xbox is currently now working for me along with cross platform play.
Still took 2 days & virtual silence from behaviour on the issue but hopefully it stays up now.
Ping is all over the place though for all survivors & killer, most definitely not my internet!

1 hour later the game crashed & won't sign back in again, did my dailes at least, I'm not trying all night have better things to do & games that I can actually play!

Its is NOT workking for me. Something like this happened last year too.
They better give us like 5 milion BP. This is like 2 days I can't play the event because of this. With no end in sight.

If I try a million times I can get into the menus. But I can't advance further than the Survivor Killer tab selection screen.
