Survivors with an abnormally high/low escape rate

In terms of my all time stats, I have a 38.39% escape rate. But looking through all my individual survivor stats my Ash Williams has a 54.55% escape rate from 8.7 hours whereas my Elodie has a 26.67% escape rate from 10.6 hours.

Just found it interesting to see which of my survivors I performed well/poorly with. I tend to use the same 4 perks most games over the 3 years I've played the game so there shouldn't be too much variety in escape rates in theory.

Anybody have any survivors that isn't close to your overall escape rate? (Those which you have used for at least 5 hours)

no anomalies for me it seems. I seem well rounded. the survivors I play are around my average of 45%, but my main Jeryl who has more hours than almost everybody combined sits above them all past 50%. not even my p100 can match Jeryl. I figured my most played would have the most scuffed stats

the survivors i don't bother with at all are pretty down there though. poor Adam with like a 30% rate, people be thinking he has Deliverance x.x

I do notice that sometimes I have a lucky and unlucky Survivors. If I keep getting found first on Alan, I'll switch over to Leon for a bit. Leon keeps dying on hook, I switch to David and escape a couple times.

My overall escape rate is 56.19% and my two most played survivors are at 60.1/60.3% but my Vito w 5 hours has 69.23% and my Soma/Trevor w 5.4 hours has 17.65%💀

also my Nancy with 1.4 hours has a 90% escape rate

Do you swap between these survivors often or could it be that maybe you were using different survivors during different patches?

I unlocked every survivor and then played with them until they got P3. So I would have played with most survivors in a singular period of time, so it's possible a certain patch made me perform better/worse than others. I also used to switch when daily objectives required you using a specific survivor

I can have survivors at 100% escape because I adept and never played them again. If I had bad rounds before escaping it would probably be in the teens.

My mains (Meg & Dwight) have a 36% escape rate. Surprised about Dwight, because I normally use a silly Locker Dweet build on him, but I guess I also run normal perks on him as well. Thalita is my highest at 38.2%.

My Feng Min only has a 23.6% escape rate. I like her cool cosmetics, but because I can't stand to listen to her injured noises, I need to run Iron Will on her for every trial. No exceptions. Which means I can't crutch on my favourite exhaustion perk. Iron Will also makes her my preferred Survivor for playing on Switch, since I try to play stealthy (looping on that console with 80ms + ping is wishful thinking), but I guess that play style isn't working out for me.

Lara Croft has a pretty low escape rate as well (26.3%). I think that's mostly because I only use a lore accurate chest looting build whenever I play as her. Steve, Ripley and Sable are all sitting at around 29-31%, though I'm not sure why. Steve I can explain, because I know lots of Killers hate a Stegull. But Sable and Ripley, I dunno. Maybe Killers just hate Sables?

I think survivors have killers they like and dislike and Killers have survivors they like and dislike. I've noticed at times that depending on which survivor I'm playing, my chances of escape will be significantly more/less, or just the chances of BM will decrease/increase too. I've had the worst luck with Claudettes, Sables, Dwights, Megs, Neas. (Which is a shame because most of the free characters are like…abysmally hated lol)

It was a very different time. 😔 I miss modding the most. I was recreating all of Heather's shirts from scratch when they patched it out.
