Xbox Players Are Being Left Behind

I want to start by saying I understand technical issues happen, and I genuinely appreciate that the team is working to resolve the ongoing outage affecting Xbox and Microsoft Store players. I’m sure this isn’t the kind of experience anyone at BHVR wants for their players, especially during such a big event.

That said, it’s hard to ignore that the Xbox player base is currently at a serious disadvantage. This isn’t just about the loss of Bloodpoints or leveling progress, it’s also about not being able to unlock limited-time event rewards. These are items we’ll never have another chance to earn, and with each passing day, that opportunity slips further away.

What makes this even more frustrating is that for some players, this delay isn’t something they can just “wait out.” I’ve spoken to others in the community who have upcoming commitments such as travel, work, etc. and if this issue isn’t resolved soon and the event extended, they may have no chance of participating at all and can’t get the rewards.

At the very least, I think the fair and reasonable thing to do would be to extend the anniversary event once the issue is resolved, and ideally consider a Blood Feast during that extension to help affected players catch up on what we’ve missed. If we aren’t getting an extension, then I think at the very least you should unlock all the anniversary rewards for Xbox players.

I’m not trying to be negative, I just hope this situation is taken seriously, because it is a big deal to a lot of us. We love this game, and we just want to feel like we’re being heard and treated fairly. Thank you for your time, and for everything you’re doing behind the scenes to get us back into the game.

    I just made a similar post because I am so upset. I have barely been able to play because of these issues. Since I started playing DBD last October all I kept hearing is "wait til anniversary you will get so many BP". Plus it being the last time they do this event, and my first time, its super upsetting I cannot play.

    swf lobbies have been broken since I joined in 2021. we got left behind too when fnaf released and only PC players were allowed to enjoy it for a week because patches cost $$.

    I had to take a break because of fnaf issues, and now I'm back at square one.
