Why didn't Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus do the Hook screams?

Why is their hook screams still the same awful screams from the PTB? I mean I guess if the actors couldn't do the screams, someone else should've done it, because I'm sorry, but the hook screams do not match their voices and sound terrible.
