80s / 90s / 2000s horror license possibilities
I won't go into details on perks and powers as thats always up to the devs and license holders to discuss. But here are some license chapters that could fit the game that most people growing up in the 90s might recognize.
1: Turok
Survivor(s) : Joshua Fireseed, Diana, Adon
Killer(s) : The Primogen, Oblivion (and many more cyborgs n dinosaurs)
2: Dino Crisis
Survivor(s) : Regina , Dylan , Paula (and various others)
Killer(s) : A large assortment of Dinosaurs to choose from like raptors / trex / gigantosaurus / pterodactyl and eventualy even dinosaurs mutated in space like hammerhead raptors that can phase through walls (tho tbe 3rd entry that involved the mutated dinosaurs ended up killing the series)
3: Critters
Killer : Critter(s). Much like the chucky franchise, the chapter would be fine without any survivors as the characters aren't as iconic as the Critters themselves. They are also about the same size as the current chucky in dbd (though they tend to vary in size in each movie).
4: starship troopers
Killer : bug (the big maneating ones)
Survivor(s) : Johnny Rico, Carmen Ibanez, Dizzy Flores, Carl Jenkins. The original survivors could also get marine corp uniform cosplays
5: Fear Effect
Survivors : Hana , Rain, Royce, Jakob
6: The X-Files
Survivors : Fox Mulder, Dayna Skully, Skinner
7: Screamers
Survivor(s) : Joseph, Jessica
Killer(s) : screamer(s) (either the child infiltration model or the tunneling ground based worm like model, or maybe even both together like a twins killer)
8: The Blob
Killer : The Blob (might be difficult to implement but has many ways to fit into the game with passive changes in playstyle based on its size growing or shrinking with how often it manages to injure survivors)
9: The Thing
Survivor(s) : R.J Macready, Childs, George Bennings
Killer : The Thing (most think of the thing and imagine it blending in with the survivors, but forget that it only does that to avoid being overpowered by enemies with weapons. Once it starts to corner people however it changes into various deadly forms which could be its power that fits into the game)
10: Parasite Eve
Survivor(s): Aya Brea
Killer : Mitochondria Eve
11: Puppetmaster
Killer(s): quite a few killer dolls to choose from, could even be a killer that switches to different characters on the go to utilize each of their abilities, kinda like the lost vikings.
12: The Leprechaun
Killer: The Leprechaun
13: X-COM
Survivor(s) : since you always got to customize your team of men n women, its one of those licenses that bhvr can make their own custom man/woman like they did with dungeons & dragons.
Killer(s) : Sectoid (the grey martian things), Thin man, Chrysalid (probly the most iconicly scary one), Muton, Ethereal, and many more.

Dino Crisis could be possible, but I don't know that it's lucrative enough to attempt. Maybe for a Jill skin. Parasite Eve is tricky just because of the source material. They'd still have the original cast but I'm not sure SE would be keen enough to license it out.

Yea i recently read they could make stuff in the parasite eve universe but not use the parasite eve name lol hense parasite eve 3 being called The 3rd birthday. But who knows, I also heard SE just tanked and lost several licenses maybe that was one of them. As for regina as a jill skin, i don't think capcom would want to overlap one of their licenses ontop of another just because they happen to own both, they wont even let you swap cosmetic peices (all linked suits)

They'd still have the PE cast as far as I know since those are all Nomura characters. That's why they were able to use them in The 3rd Birthday, but it was harder to reference the plot that didn't belong to them.

Yo the blob would be sick tho, I get that’d be a tough one to implement but there’s a lot of opportunity for weird gameplay there I think
