why are we nerfing last stand over conviction?

a perk that basically has roughly same value in hands of solo q / swf, good / bad players, mildly annoying, has counterplay regardless and while could use some bugfixing (the ######### it does with hitboxes and sounds seems like unofficial unintentional bug) and was overall okay was deemed "too op" and had to be nerfed by 50%.

meanwhile conviction, a perk that gets progressively more OP in hands of better/coordinated players, has absurdly free trigger condition (finish healing any survivor, yourself included), has no use limit, has no counterplay except "instapick praying it doesnt lose you the game", has absurd amount of application and abuse potential doesnt get even acknowledged.

dork was saying something about conviction being a "hail mary" perk, so far my personal experience of using it in duo SWF was to

1) bodyblock killers

2) bodyblock them again and get free DS proc on them if they pick up to counter it

3) bodyblock them to stack mettle of man (btw i recommend that to everyone, just take conviction + MoM + literally anything else it doesnt matter, my pick was botany + resurgence bc its instaheal off hook. take first hit, ######### off to reset and then you just take up to 5 protection hits in a row. the last ones have diminishing value for obvious reasons, but its stupidly good for denying killer a won chase on whoever theyre targeting)

4) die in pallet faking save, instapick getting +30 seconds to chase

5) instapicking myself to die elsewhere so the killer is forced to slug me without knowing where i can be

6) instapicking to plot twist in a corner so the killer that dared to slug me gets fully healed survivor.

7) pairing it with UB and soul guard and dying in awkward spots where killer cant instapick me

a thing to note, none of the killers ive encountered so far were doing anything that could fall under "abusing" slugging. they were just playing the game normally, giving proper responses to circumstances they ended up in like not mindlessly picking because of a threat of a save.

doesnt feel lot like hail mary to me when I could just spam the perk and waste killer time for free. but hey, most of these killers were ghouls so it "fair" because it was against op killer.

on side a note, the buff to pallet build perk is pathetic. still takes eternity to charge and is heavily limited. just make it gentime based, please, its not going to be gamebreaking with all the other limitations there are on it already
