Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Clown is a hold W killer now

And by hold W killer I don't mean from the survivor's perspective. More that the killer just needs hold W with their speed boost. Don't even need to bother mind-gaming most of the time, just zoom around everything and get your hit regardless.

At least that has been my experience playing against the new Clown. And it brings me to a point that I think is lacking occasionally with BHVR's design choices. From a survivor's perspective the thing that makes the game fun isn't sitting on a generator, or healing your teammates, but its mind-games and counterplay. If you remove mind-games and counterplay you kind of remove the only part of the game that is actually fun. I hate to say it that way but that's kind of why I play this game.

I mean the counterplay against him is still the same which is to camp pallets and not hold shift w. You can still loop him you just need to know which tiles are safe against him and which aren't. Not to say he isn't stronger but some survivors only know to shift w and this killer requires you to know that isn't possible against him

They wanted players to use yellow bottle and that is what people do now. So big win for BHVR but unfun for Clown mains and survivors that's the only drawback..
