Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Pyramid Head

Pyramid Head's Punishment of the Damned is too predictable and too easy to dodge. That's it. It punishes you so much for missing it that even the basekit buffs and addons don't help. Pyramid Head's chases are slow because you can't use your ability to reactively punish someone, making you an M1 killer. Slow chases = gens get done without you being able to do anything.

Yeah the slower movement speed nerf they gave him is really punishing and to be honest overweights the buffs massively and forces you to run his iri range addon.

I lost so many times as him because I just couldn‘t catch up. For context I‘m someone who ONLY uses his m2 as much as possible. Pair this with the chase bug and you won‘t catch up ever when using his power as much as possible.

About it being too easy to predict, agree and disagree. If you are really good with him you can predict where survivors are going, but I also agree that it isn‘t that hard to dodge. On the other side his abillity is really strong and needs to be dodgeable. He would feel miserable to play against if it was much harder to dodge.

One thing that annoys me even more is that his power gets screwed over by stairs and by tiny bits of elevations. Like he is straight up unplayable on certain maps (RPD,….).

You're not meant to use it like projectiles, mate. If you want to use PH optimally then you have to fake it 99% of the time. And yes, Punishment of the Damned "punishes" survivor players who made the dire mistake of vaulting during a chase.

So, pretend to use power in 99% of the time instead of actually using it? That’s something new. With making him 4.2 he can’t fake in many loops tho
