Boring Killer + Perk Combos
Killer build combos you get sick of seeing, but not because they are strong or OP, but just because you see them so much it's boring and predictable. For me, it's Wesker + Plaything. It's almost like running that perk is mandatory for Weskers.
Again, it's not op or anything, it's just that Wesker has such a high pick rate and most of them play the same. Mix it up a bit will ya, lol
Anybody else have ones that come to mind?

Huh, most Weskers that I have seen run Friends till the End paired with Nowhere to Hide.

Funny, I do the opposite of Plaything and throw on Distressing. I want the whole map to be my terror radius. You'll never guess where I actually am.

Got pretty tired of seeing clown with variants of knock out/hex: nothing but misery/save the best for last/rapid brutality after his changes.

They can be annoying but killer needs to hook everyone to get some value so its not good for tunneling gameplay (tunneling from start of the trial). Only reason painres is good its because after many nerfs many killers lack mobility part in their kit to use some different regression perks that help others are eruption which is good but you need to kick gen and get down to make it work not good for low mobility again, ruin thats hard to use if you dont get swamp map because totem will be gone in first one or two minutes of the trial not tomention using hex theres like 50% cahnce survivors will spawn on it so bye bye hex and last is oppression which is ok but not super strong if survivors can hit skillchecks.
For me these perks you mentioned are unfun if my reammates are going down fast as potatoes then its hard to do any gens.

90% of the matches i’ve played in the last few months contain pain resonance in some way, the rest is plaything
i’ve just accepted that at this point that the moment I load into a match the killer is probably using pain resonance4 -

Whaaat? You guys are having weskers with something different than pop, nowhere, brutal and eruption? Europe high mmr only consist those.
Back to the topic. I don't enjoy trapper with agi + iron. If you get caught near basement, it's basically timeout for you or easy 4k, depends on what other surviviors do

Well, survivors still have to run back to get the item that was dropped. Time wasted, that could have otherwise been used on a gen.

Not only is this a waste of time, but it could also be a smart way for killers to nab survivors when they circle back for the item. I run Built to Last in one of my builds and my item is critical. I always go back for it when I lose it.

i see killers running 3 slowdown perks and sometimes 4, and it's boring, but do i blame them?, No, i don't.
because they know the gens are FLYING when the killer doesn't have slowdown perks.
i don't mind seeing the gens slowdown perks getting nerf, but at least make the gens take longer to get done + more % on the gen kicking, like 8%.
if they did this, killers would start using other perks.

I don’t want to stick to gen when playing survivor tbh. Maybe, just maybe, it was nice idea making gen interaction not only as boring m1, required some map scout for gathering details or like it was on blood moon event. Still, some gen charges have to be done, but it would be finishing stage or sth like it.
But I’m afraid it’ll be too confusing for new players and hard to implement on such stage…
Hope they will try to evolve idea with blood gens for other events at least :(0 -
I mean, I'm actually arguing I preferred old Franklin's from a survivor perspective because I could go back for my item in peace, since no one else would go back for a depleted item except someone running BtL. Now the killer can use the fallen items as a trap since people will now return to them.

Blight with Lethal Pursuer, Barbeque and Chilli, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance and Grim Embrace.
It's hard to shake the idea that these Blight's have never had a single original thought in their lives…

Distressing is only there to free up the add-on slots on Doc. But I agree that the Coulrophobia / Unnerving (impossible skillcheck healing) build is very over-used.
I on my hand use Distressing, Agitation, Brutal Strength and Dead Man's Switch, which is quite effective0 -
Not a combo, but Lethal Pursuer is really old with all of the Survivors being grouped together now.
