We had this exact same exploit a year ago, what changed?
This perk was, eventually kill switched, as it led to infinite charges on TOOLBOXES ONLY and was considered game breaking.
Now, we have an exploit that allows infinite charges con ALL items. What changed between this year and 2024?

Nevermind it wasn't Killswitched then... For some strange reason they were unable to Killswitch the perk and got a lot of flack for it…coincidentally while another map was killswitched...

Or are terrified that it has mayor consequences so they just limit it to a single mechanic at once? If you check all their Killswitch updates they never ever have more than a single mechanic killswitche???

No, they can killswitch two things at a time. Last December, they killswitched a cosmetic for Baermar at the same time Houndmaster was killswitched.

They killswitched Potential Energy last year.

Potential Energy in particular never got killswitched.
But they can killswitch perks and they have done it with other perks before multiple times. Wake Up for example a couple years ago had a bug where it caused the killer's game to crash when you tried to open an exit gate, and that got killswitched almost immediately
