Demogorgon changes (He's outdated)
Hey y'all! I've been a Demogorgon main for acouple years and have accumulated hundreds of hours into him specifically. Only recently have I slowed down the rate that I play him. Part of this is because he's outdated both with the visuals of his power as well as his strength, especially compared to some of the recent killers released. I don't think it would take too much to make him look and feel more modern. Therefore, I'm making this post. I'll split visual changes, basekit changes, and addon changes into different sections to make reading this long post slightly more palatable.
Visual:
When comparing Demogorgon's visuals to Xenomorph's or Springtrap's visuals, especially when it comes to using their teleporting abilities, there is no doubt that Demogorgon is outdated and due for a tune-up. All that I believe needs to be done is add some visuals when he teleports. For example, either add a generic upside down realm beneath the map when he teleports, or add an upside down version of the map he's playing on whenever he teleports. Either can work great and make teleporting look cooler and more modern.
Basekit:
Demogorgon used to be one of the most balanced killers in the game. As time has passed, he has kind of been left behind as DBD has become much more fast paced. He has also been surpassed by many killers who either got buffed or came into DBD in a stronger state. Some newer killers you can compare him to are Alien (teleport), Wesker (2 dashes), Dracula (2 dashes and 3rd person pov), and Springtrap (teleport & undetectable duration). Either way, I think it's time he gets a buff. First, I believe Demogorgon should have a basekit undetectable duration of 10 seconds after teleporting (currently 5). Second, Demogorgon should have 2 portals automatically set up at the beginning of the match next to the 2 furthest generators from his position that the survivors can't destroy for the first 30 seconds. Third, Demogorgon's shred range should be increased to 8 meters for short charge and 13 meters for full charge (currently 7 and 11). Fourth, Demogorgon's shred charge time should be decreased to 0.8 seconds for a fully charged shred (currently 1 second). Fifth, Demogorgon should be able to see blood brighter and for longer from injured survivors (basekit bloodhound), and survivors should be able to see this too so they're not confused if Demogorgon finds them stealthing. Sixth (this one is my original idea that I believe could work but could also be disregarded while all other changes go through), each 2 times Demogorgon teleports, he is given the option to go on all fours in a crawling stance for 30 seconds. While in this form, Demogorgon gains an additional 5% movement speed, a decrease of 16 meters to his terror radius, and a 10% increase to vault speed. However, while in this form, Demogorgon cannot use his shred ability. After the 30 seconds of this form are over, Demogorgon will go into a 1 second animation back to his upright stance. I believe all of these changes combined will make Demogorgon feel slightly stronger, and faster paced.
Addons:
Demogorgon's addons are mostly bad or niche. In this section I'm just going to list each addon I believe needs changed or reworked.
Rat tail- On top of its effect of increasing portal placement speed by 50%, add an additional effect of increasing the speed of crawling through a portal by 15%
Rat liver- Make the addon start working as soon as you start to charge shred rather than after 0.5 seconds of charging shred. Then increase the movement speed while charging shred from 3.5 to 5%.
Viscous webbing- Increase time to destroy portals by 15% (currently 10).
Sticky Lining (Rework)- Increase duration of crawling stance by 10 seconds.
Violet waxcap (Rework)- Increase pallet breaking speed by 10% when in crawling stance.
Thorny vines (Rework)- Successful shred attacks inflict the hit survivor with mangled and hemorrhage for 70 seconds.
Eleven's soda- Keep current effect of showing what gens are being worked on while teleporting, but allow Demogorgon to see the yellow auras for 2 seconds after emerging from the portal (similar to how Lepros works).
Deer lung- Keep teleport bonus speed the same. Only remove 1 portal (currently 2).
Brass case lighter- Keep the 60 seconds of blindness to survivors who come in range of an active portal. Add the additional effects of 60 seconds of oblivious and 10 seconds of exhaustion.
Vermillion webcap- Increase undetectable after coming out of portal by 5 seconds (currently 3).
Upside down resin- Increase time to destroy portals by 25% (currently 20).
Unknown egg (rework)- Whenever the Demogorgon teleports, all active portals glow red as if he is about to emerge. Survivors within 8 meters of the portal Demogorgon emerges from suffer from 5% hindered for 5 seconds. Survivors within 12 meters of a portal with a fake emerging suffer from the oblivious and deafness status effects for 20 seconds.
Lifeguard whistle- Keep current effect of adding 2 extra portals. Add the additional effect of decreasing shred miss recovery time by 15%. Will not stack with Mew's guts addon.
Red moss- Increase undetectable after teleporting by 10 seconds (currently 8). Remove the effect of Increased time to come out of portal.

I think only having to set up an exit portal and being able to teleport to them from anywhere would be good, it takes so long to set up both portals only to have them disabled in seconds.
With Shred if it didn’t lock the camera so hard when in recovery it would feel a lot better.
