A pure, pointless, angry rant.
This serves no purpose. This is only hatred. I'm hoping it amuses someone. But as far as critique of this game goes, it's not even critique. It's simply, hatred.
I think I finally snapped today. I looked upon the godless beast which is Dead by Daylight, and saw a greater monster than I saw a monster hiding under the beasts stomach. So many decisions other players couldn't comprehend, I had made excuses for the design of. Things like, giving survivors the offering to group each other up, and killers the one that spreads them all out. I thought Behavior was intentionally giving both sides the option to handy cap themselves to get better at the game, and I respected the idea behind it.
But now, in a game against the ghoul. I had teammates her healing. AGAINST GHOUL! Like they would against Legion, but that was fine. Because they could have been new. They didn't know healing against kaneki was pointless. But then, I watched as a bot, got in my way of finishing a generator, just so it could come up and start twerking, telling me we should heal, and I realized, "oh. Behaviour literally doesn't play their game anymore."
Stop making the bots, heal against killers they're not supposed to heal against, please.

really thought this was another rant about ghoul lol
but yea bots can very frustrating and scary sometimes, they actually had to nerf their ability to loop and other stuff since it was just borderline cheating, they should really make them smarter in a way that helps other survivors not in loops

this went a direction I did not expect but can support

I hate to be 'that guy' but…
Healing against Kaneki isn't pointless…?
If you're injured he can just catapult himself at you and m1 you instead of needing to waste time injuring you with the hitscan attack first. Yeah if he wants enraged mode he'll have to do that anyway but it's at least a safety net from going down immediately after he finds you
Staying injured against Kaneki is just asking to get slugged and snowballed (Which is something he excells at)

yeah, since he can be on anybody at any time he wants, the longer a trial goes on the deadliest being injured becomes. I typically run no exhaustion perks so I sometimes really need that burst of speed. even with WoO it can be hard to reach safety in some areas at a moments notice.
only time I play comfortably injured all game is if there's overwhelming aura reads such as from Treacherous Crows

Yeah I've never heard anyone advocating for not healing against Kaneki.

yeah but with the auto aim attack, I have found healing to be almost objectively not worth it. If you're on a map with a lot of cover, you can kind of avoid his thing, but otherwise I'd say you're just wasting 16 seconds for something the killer will undo, and than zip to you again and down you.
This might be me being angry and saying, "I hate kaneki, he nullifies healing!" so don't trust my advice too much. I still would say it's help me in 1 game against kaneki, where if I hadn't healed up I would've gone down sooner. The rest of the time however, it was definitely a waste to heal against him.
