Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Eternal Heart charm

Did they really think we wouldn't remember that this charm has been in the game files since early 2024, clearly meant for Valentine's, and never released?

On the wiki you can stil find the original name and description

I wonder if they just straight up forgot about it back then. Wouldn't surprise anyone.

There are a number of unreleased charms in the game files (which can also be viewed in-game when you untick every box in the filter pop-up) that should have been released immediately alongside their respective events.

There is a Silver Wolf Medallion charm, which you'd expect would be unlocked by buying a Witcher cosmetic. There is also the Boulet Brothers charm, that's still under lock and key even when owning both cosmetics.

I think it's a waste to have these charms designed, added, and then left to gather dust. And releasing them for a completely unrelated reason years after they were added feels kinda lazy.

If they're running out of ideas for charms, Honestly, I'd like to see more Killer charms that are killer themed. Stuff like shrunken heads, skins, Hearts, Lungs, Bowels, Kidneys, eyes, or personal items that belong to survivors like Dwight's glasses, Meg's pigtails, Mikaela's bloody witch hat, David's tape for wrapping his Hands, Yui's Hair tie, etc. Y'know… Trophies!

What mass murdering psychopathic killer doesn't collect trophies from their victims? Heck, Clown collects fingers, so it stands to reason that the others would collect things too. Bubba canonically collects faces, but they removed the option on that a long time ago due to "controversies" involving certain characters faces, and I'm fine with those characters body parts remaining out of the loop for the trophies, but personal items should still be fine right?

On the reverse, Survivors could have their own, like the shapes Kitchen Knife, Broken Huntress Hatchet, Killers Masks, a Ghost Face Ribbon, etc, small things they can tie to their belts to show they've beaten this killer, and no longer fear them! Less trophies, more of "Wards against evil". Even Map centered ones could work, like an alien flower from Toba Landing, a Splinter from the Grim Pantry, a schoolbook from Midwich or Badham, etc. There's plenty of things that could be made into charms in this game that have a more personal connection to its lore and characters that they can make.

While I'd prefer the killer ones to be more grisly/macabre, the survivors could be more of Keepsakes, or Wards. Who knows, heck, most of the Offerings we only get a picture and description for, why not make models of those offerings? I know they already did the Jar of Salty lips, some anniversary cakes, and a few others, but nowhere near the amount of offerings already in the game.

I want to know what's up with the Witcher charm and why it hasn't been given out. That was one of the most obvious charms to do with a license and it's crazy that it exists but is sitting in the game files unused.

A similar thing can be said about the D20 Dice charm. That one was released by means of a code, way after the D&D chapter came out. Yet it would have been perfect as a reward for buying the chapter …
