Hardest achiement in the game
I say don't open, dead inside is by far hardest achiement in the game. I have tried last few weeks to get it. But the map is super mega rare. I brought map offering there 50 times and only once I actually got the map... 2 times I got the map without offering. So out of almost 100 games 3 times I have played there and every time the killer just camped the gen and played as toxic as possible. Their only goal when this map is to stop you from getting the achiement.
This achiement might take years and the map is also mega killer sided. Makes me log out of the game now. That's better than going to killer as I would play definetely toxic when frustated.
RPD achiement is peace of cake compared to this one took me few days to get it. Recently has escaped from there multiple times as well. Even with map offering nerfs it's very attainable just need bit of work unlike walking dead achiement which is purely luck.

I got super duper lucky and got this map as my first map on day one of its release, and I got the achievement. But I think I've only been on it as survivor maybe two times since and I've played a couple hundred matches.

I've only gotten it once and thankfully it was against a Ghostface that just wanted to kill the two Survivors that DCed and let me and the other one go. Was lucky enough to get to the building gen first. These map challenges are all down to luck for the most part. I agree the map is incredibly rare though. I've still only gotten Freddy's once too.

Meanwhile I get freddy map like every other game. They need to bring map offerings back or make every map separate offering so there is at least that 20% chance to get map you want/need. Now there is like 1% chance when garden of joy, freddy map and other variants are tied to just single offering...

I got lucky with a Hillbilly who was having a hard time landing his chainsaw attacks, but even getting the map in the first place took a long time.

The new system would probably be better in a game with less maps overall. As is, it's just not worth it.

This is a hilarious overexaggeration over a achievement you'll get with normal play. This isn't Evil Incarnate or Jump Scared, where you have to buy a licensed character and then interact with mechanics that are incredibly difficult to perform consistently to get a achievement, or the Huntress orbital achievement, which requires knowledge of maps, control over the hatchets, and likely also throw matches to grind it if you're not a fan of Huntress. Hell, this isn't even Hand Eye Coordination, which requires a player seperate from you to have Vecna, and for you to successfully roll a 20, attune to the item you recieve, and then not die. This is a map achievement, and map achievements come naturally.

Got evil incarnate in my second game with the michael. It's pretty easy to get when you just start with the character you are unlikely to face good survivors immediatelly.
Huntress achiement is very easy to farm just requires to throw few games for that. Most survivors unlike killers actually help you get achiements.
If jump scared is springtrap achiement that is also incredibly easy to farm got in 2 games.
The thing is with those achiement you can try to get them every game but with map achiements you might only have one chance in 100 games. If you are player who wants to keep their achiement progress at 100% this is very frustating.

I don't see what was wrong with just bringing a brown sac ward every game. the loss of BP was worth the peace of mind but that system allowed you to risk the Map Wars if you felt a hankering towards a particular realm.

Speaking as someone who has 100% achievement completion in this game:
Any achievement which requires going to a specific map has immediately become a frontrunner for hardest to get with the map offering rework.
I wouldn't say Don't Open Dead Inside is the hardest, but it did take me weeks and over 30 map offerings to get it. Even then, I had to ask the killer for mercy, because I only got the map twice in all of those matches with map offerings.
I disagree with people saying that Evil Incarnate is the hardest. You can try Evil Incarnate as many times as you want, as long as you keep feeding Michael blood points to get the necessary offerings.
I would say the top two hardest achievements at the moment are Outbreak Breakout, which requires opening the exit gates in RPD and escaping TWENTY TIMES. Followed by Hand-Eye Coordination, which requires you to: A) Get Vecna as your killer, B) Find the Hand or Eye of Vecna, C) Escape with it.
The Vecna one is totally, completely out of your control. You could get lucky and get it without trying, or you could legit never get it if the RNG just never lines up for you.4 -
I feel bad for those that need the Vecna ones; i see a lot of people say that they go out of their way to make sure Vecna users escape the trial, but man I hate the Hand so much I make it my mission to ensure I retrieve it. The eye is cool, but if I see the hand I lock the heck in.

Oh, special mention for Jump Scared for Springtrap, which requires you to intercept survivors inside the doors.
If you want to get this one legitimately, it's in the top 3 alongside Hand-Eye Coordination and Outbreak Breakout.
The only reason I do not put it in the top 3 is because most survivors are down to farm with you if you signal for it, especially if there's multiple BP offerings. If you just farm with the survivors and tell them to get into the doors, it's trivial to get.

I helped someone get this on day one on my very first game against a Springtrap. Buddy was looking to get that out of the way immediately.

Hey DS, I don't want to be rude, but it's "achievement" not achiement.

What would you dmsay is harder? All other map achievements I got immediatelly or within couple days. Even now to some maps offerings work with 20% chance. To the walking dead map you have maybe 2% chance with offering. Feels it's by far rarest map. Now I almost never face friendly killer so I say you were extremely lucky getting the achievement. All other achievement you can feel getting progress at least. Springtrap one I got in couple games with farming. I had 100% completion before this achievement.

Well you could added something more to the discussion than that. English is not my first language.

My vote goes to left for dead. This achievement is literally impossible to complete under normal circumstances. It basically forces you to get lucky and run into a friendly killer that knows the achievement exists and decides to let you have it.

The latest rift came out the same day and my milestone for completed games says I'm at 420. I have seen the map 3 times.

that doenn't change how we undrstand the sentince, so it's kand of a pointlezs corection.
Now, if we are discussing helping Uncle Jack off the horse, then that is worth clarifying

Its always interesting that every time they add achievements in the game someone makes a topic that one of them is too hard to get. When they aren't really.
-9 -
Hemophobia is harder

skilled huntress, that’s all I’m gonna say 🙄

I was in thr same boat, on the 5th try i managed to get out the door by a hair while everyone else got tunneled off. Never seen that map as killer but if i do, we are just farming and everyone gets to go free.
1 -
How ingot that one was sitting on a 2nd story building and just constantly flinging hatchets until the survivors realised i wouldnt leave from there. They then procedede to play long range dodgeball with my hatchets most of the round lol

I can attest to this as well that most survivors will help get achievements. I do it constantly to complete tomes. I will just match in, show I'm friendly, hit at a hook and they will literally line up and let me hook all of them. Or I hit a gen, they work on it, and then let me kick it to oblivion or let me get grabs etc. Wish there was some kind of a way for survivors to ask for help with an achievement too.
5 -
I'm never getting that Vecna achievement. Outbreak Breakout was one of those ones that was essentially time-locked. I got 3/4 of the way there during the chapter when you kept getting sent to RPD every trial along with help from Wake Up (pre-nerf). Now it's just a dice roll.
2 -
The difference is (with the exception of the Vecna one) you are in control of getting those achievements. You aren't relying on pure luck to carry you to getting them.
2 -
Neither is it my first language 🤷

That's the one I'd put forward. I was doing this Solo without map offerings back in the day. That is a frickin' tall order.
2 -
lol, no.
The Vecna achievement "Hand/Eye Coordination" is way harder.
2 -
Well it is achievement you can at least try every game still. But well I admit it is difficult one for sure. I never personally was aware of it existence just got it when friendly sadako let me fix last gen. My vote still goes for the walking dead one given how impossible it is to get into that map.
Now if I would have to do left for dead again I would use Laurie perk solo survivor which let you fix gens and open exits 100% faster. I bet it would not take too many games. Now twd achievement is probably easier if you can actually get into the map.

It's also achievement you can try to get every game. It takes work and can be frustating. But well I haven't even got the TWD map for two weeks now so I don't even get chance so how it's not more difficult?
I do remember hand/eye coordination being frustating but it took me 5 games when I tried it. TWD map I have gotten 3 times with no luck out of 100+ games.
-1 -
Dude.
Hand-Eye Coordination cannot be attempted every game, at all, especially not nowadays.
You need;
Be lucky enough to face Vecna (a Killer with an abysmal pickrate).
To get lucky and get the Eye/Hand of Vecna through RNG (hoping no one else gets them before you).
Not get tunnelled out by Vecna due to having the item and thus being able to be moried when on 2nd hook.
Escape.
Literally none of those aren't either partially or entirely luck-based.
Most people who got the achievement got it in the first couple weeks after Vecna release which, indeed, meant that facing Vecna was very likely. Nowadays he's a rare sight (and will only get more rare as more Killers are added).
Although the TWD achievement is not designed any better (skill has little to do with it, especially with the effective removal of map offerings) and is mostly luck-based, at least the achievement isn't dependant on another player.

I don't 100% agree with your entire post but I will say
Skilled Huntress is 100% the hardest achievement if you're someone who has no interest in playing her. (Which sadly, that is me).
-1 -
Oh I mistook it for another achievement I did get that one easily though during vecna release. Well I say they are about same level of hard now if you start trying both just now.
But I could argue "Don't open dead inside" is still bit harder as the map was not even put as gamemode during release and vecna was very common killer for months when he was released so they were lot of chances. This at least for veteran players who want all achievement as soon a possible.
