Dev response to feedback, MMR rework, bug fixing, camping/tunelling fix, perk preview in lobby, etc

Honestly having watched the video I hope that things go as well as they say they will. Fixes for "long term gameplay issues", seeing teammates perks, having more polish on upcoming chapters, an MMR rework, and rewards for good behavior would go a long way towards making the game more enjoyable. If they deliver, which is sincerely something I hope they can do.

It's a nice video, but I've heard a lot of talk from BHVR over the years.
We'll see what actually ends up happening.

Well said. They make lots of promises, and it all sounds great, but then it never materializes or is endlessly delayed. Like what happened with next-gen (now current-gen) improvements to the game? Improved visuals, Ray Tracing, Enhanced Lighting, Realistic Blood, Shadows, etc. We never got any of it. We also never got the promised PS4 Pro and Xbox One X Enhancements. And the Realm Beyond is still unfinished.

That sounds good. I wish they shared a little bit of what they have in mind but it's better than nothing. I hope now we can actually see the game getting better and not be worried about future releases.

The trust of console players is forever broken.
As a Switch player especially, every announcement, every promise, is completely empty to me. Until I experience it myself in game, it doesn't exist. (And even then, DbD's history shows it could be changed at any time. But that's just kind of how it is with live service games. However, the way they fix bugs one patch and then those bugs reappear in the next patch is so frustrating.)

Same old song,
Just a drop of water in an endless sea.

I pay zero attention to announcements anymore. So many promises/announcement made in the past have been either completely forgotten about or endlessly delayed. I don’t expect this time to be any different.
