Dead Rising Survivor Concept
WARNING: This post contains spoilers from the first Dead Rising game if you have not played the game i highly recommend playing it before viewing this. Every concept from now on i will put a disclaimer like this at the top.
The Survivor: Frank West

Frank West's Lore:
Frank West, freelance photojournalist had covered wars, been on the battlefield alone with no crew but nothing could have prepared him for what awaited him at the Willamette Parkview Mall. Frank upon getting to the front entrance saw… zombies and after a old women opened the doors to save her dog, the zombies were now in the mall and they were everywhere. Having to spend 72 hours in the mall gave Frank plenty of time to uncover the truth and get his next big scoop. After 3 grueling days of saving survivors, dealing with crazy clowns juggeling chainsaws and having to stop a mall wide explosion Frank uncovered the truth. The mastermind Carlito planned to spread zombies across the entire United States in retaliation for his home being infected by zombies and covered up by the US government. Frank before he could leave had his way out taken from him and found himself infected. Frank with the help of Carlitos sister Isabela halted his infection and fought through the army who were sent to cover up the zombies once again. Frank defeated the commander Brock and found Isabela and himself surrounded by a horde of zombies. Frank overwhelmed screamed into the sky but something…. unknown responded. Soon he found himself in a fog with no zombies around. Frank collected himself and decided he had another story to uncover.
Frank comes with 3 perks
Perk 1 Photographer:
When starting the trial you start with a camera around your neck. Using the ability button you will begin to use your camera and are able to take a picture. Taking a picture can reward you with certain status effects and items depending on the Genre of the photo. The status effects you can recieve are
A 25% haste for taking a Horror picture
Recieve a Blue item with one guaranteed purple addon for Drama pictures
Scream for a random amount of time but during that time have your aura hidden and leave no scratch marks or pools of blood. Rewarded for taking a Outtake photo.
Gain the Endurance status effect for 10 seconds for taking a Brutality photo.
Taking a picture will have the camera go on cooldown for 45 seconds.
Photo Genres:
Horror- this genre is obtained by taking a picture of the killer. Bonus haste time for getting higher score. Higher score can be rewarding if you photo the killer chasing another survivor, breaking a pallet of wall, or them using their power.
Brutality- this genre is obtained by taking a picture of the killer injuring a survivor. The Endurance time will be increased if the killer is photographed injuring a survivor with thier power, putting a survivor into the dying state, or preforming a mori on the survivor.
Outtake- this genre is obtained by taking a picture when the killer is stunned by a pallet, blinded by a flashlight or when a sabotage is preformed near them. Bonus points will make your aura hidden for longer.
Drama- this genre is obtained by taking a picture of another survivor repairing gens, healing, healing another survivor, or interacting with a killers power.Bonus points will ensure the blue item will be upgraded into a purple item.

Perk 2 Life Saver:
When you unhook a survivor you gain the ability to trade health states causing you to become broken for 50 seconds while the unhooked survivor becomes healthy

Perk 3: Saint
When you and another survivor are being chased at the same time taking a protection hit for your teammate wil give them increased 25% healing speed for 30 seconds.
