My only problem with 2v8
Caged survivors not teleporting soon enough from killers guarding cages. While you can obviously argue skill issue on certain situations where there are 7 people that simply expect 6 other people to go for the save (especially when they're not being guarded at all). When both killers are in the same vicinity of the caged victim, and no possible way to "self unhook" from a camping mechanic, it becomes increasingly frustrating when the caged simply cant do anything. More often than not, surprisingly and again NOT ALWAYS THE CASE, (because some survivor players are just completely oblivious and or are passively expecting others to do so) A caged victim's first hook in early game, has shown to likely be their last for the trial. I'm not saying to revert it back to what it was during the first iteration of 2v8 how the caged were teleporting, that was atrocious. But to dial in the time it takes for the caged to move on to possibly be saved even if it means waiting for them to hit the struggle first and then move. Specifically speaking about this mode and only this mode, no one should have to sit there from start to finish in the cage without some kind of chance to get out of it, which in this case, throw them at their team for a chance to get them out if they get forced into struggle at the very LEAST.

I've noticed this too. There's times where Im in the killer's terror radius for a long while and never get teleported away.

Yea, noticed it too. Its got some crazy delay to activating, despite the killers blatantly walking around the caged survivor to deny a free save.
Also played a Wraith game and had someone caged on 2nd stage, team didn't save him, I was just running around his cage (match was already over) & he still wasn't transported to another location. IDK if the activation to transport needs the killer to be 'seen' but its definitely very wonky/inconsistent.

Yes true and one survivor griefing can block the prompt and kill you, it's not frequent ofc but the fact it can be done… happened to me once, others tried to help but nah, just let us unhook from the sides maybe ??

funnily enough, I think its like this now because people like me abused the mechanic to push cages away from survivors, making the hooked person die in the cage.

I think ever since they adjusted it to not move when a survivor is near a cage it's been off. Before killers could just keep a survivor in a cage by moving near it quickly but now if someone is looping a killer nearby you won't move to a safe spot. I do think they need to adjust it so if a killer is nearby for too long, even if a survivor is also nearby, that the cage moves. Like if after 15 seconds the survivor nearby with a killer hasn't rescued you then the cage moves.

Unhooking In 2v8 is a nightmare wouldn't mind a removal of go next prevention update all together for 2v8 I've had two games where I died first hook since some times no one comes you spawn in a area with no gena on the opposite side of the map and your basically left for dead
