Normally that's meant as some sort of provokation or like saying "look you wasted so much time chasing me to the corner of the map, and now you have to waste more hooking me from here" - but that would only work in 1vs4 normally, because you don't have to hook in 2vs8?
Maybe she found it funny in general to make you run there idk xD

Its still smart to die edge map, away from all the gens and survivors, he has to go all that way

There's a thing called 'comp corner' where you buy everyone a few extra seconds by running to a far corner, also since usually it takes a second or two longer for the killer to get to a hook from there. That doesn't really work in 2v8 though obviously since there aren't any hooks. So probably just someone who watches too many streamers.

Something like this yes, also it guarentees to absolute die at that spot without falling weird. In animation you don't get thrown away xD

True but doesn't matter at all. The other girl was not found yet and the legion is not affected by her running edgemap at all, besides that edgemap was literally giving her 5 seconds - even in 1vs4 this wouldn't be very effective because there would be a hook next to it mostlikely xD
