2v8 Killer Innate skills that don't make sense.
So looking these, most of them seem fine. Happy with killers generally across the the board... strangely I do think the A and S tier killers are fine, because despite being highly lethal, they still only do 1 health state per hit, and with how 2v8 functions, they do feel fine to face most of the time.... though Nurse looks little silly... 🤨
However there are a few killers that don't make sense to my mind: -
Nemesis - Underpowered Buffs
Most of Nemesis' buffs are for his zombies, and this doesn't really help Nemesis at all... his zombies have twice the targets and are just as ineffective as ever... less in fact because you can have Scouts drop a pallet on their head and rebuild it for barely any cost.
Short of giving him his more quirky add-ons, there is little that can be added though, other than increasing mutation rate hitting Survivors... which wouldn't be a bad shout, because Nemesis still needs 3 hits per survivor for his infection to get going... he should be getting access to his power curve quicker in this high octane mode.
If he's not gonna get that, at the very least make his zombies get their move faster add-ons and have him be the passive info killer... detection rage, fov and respawn time is all fine... but it doesnt mean jack if they move like mollasses... at least make the zombies move at a decent click to passively give Killers info and assist with their pressure.
Deathslinger - Barely Any Buffs?
Deathslinger only got reel speed and reload speed Buffs... he is hardly the strongest killer in this mode by a damned sight...
Where are his movememt speed while aiming and cooldown on miss add-ons? In such a target rich environment, and especially when his damage isn't instant, he needs to be popping shots off fast.
His ability to double tap or hold for an instadown killer is little more than a gimmick, as he has to stick near his partner to be effective, and all killers can already quickly down survivors as a duo… Slimger has nothing special... where are the rest of his buffs?
Oni - Why is he buffed at all?
Oni's power naturally synergies with 2v8, he is inherently strong in this mode like Legion, but unlike Legion, Oni is strong and deadly, able to go on huge wrecking sprees...
Yet he has buffs up the wazzoo? I'm not convinced he needs any buffs at all period, him at base it plenty good in 2v8. If I give him anything, its probably movement speed and activation speed increase... but he doesn't need turn rate increases, charge rate or faster blood orb collection... he's already swimming in blood...
Legion - Honorable Mention
I'm not sure on Legion this generation... thus far I've actually done alright against him, I'm not seeing the menace I saw in previous generations... but I'm not sure exactly what is hindering him so much... unless the 1s less Feral Frenzy has curtailed him substantially, I'm not clear on what has reigned him in... but he feels better and more fair from Survivor side thus far... the Legion has to actually know what they're doing somewhat now.
If anyone can argue to the contrary though, interested to hear it.

Corrected my edit now, apologies folks!

Why did Nemesis even get the pitiful visual detection buffs for zombies instead of the (basically mandatory) speed add-ons? The sound detection range far trumps the visual range is a remotely reliable method of pathing them towards survivors by default.
Also, since we're past pretending the "we can't have more than two zombies" and "we can't have that many AI entities in-game at once" were both outed as an issue with inexperience during Nemesis' design and not an engine limitation, why are we playing with giga-sized maps with two zombies?3 -
Hard agree man, it'd be interesting to see if BHVR would have another crack at zombies now, especially after the engine update, you'd think those APIs would be made even easier in the newer Unreal Engine.
However even if not... fast zombies is a bare minimum for sure.
