Please remove Blastmine from 2v8
Idc who this pisses off, but in my personal opinion Blastmine does not belong in 2v8. Its not really that fair for killers to have to go against in all things considered. Gen speeds are higher, plus no real way of countering the ability. Survivors have enough stuff as it is, why did they feel Blastmine was needed? Survivors can already rebuild pallets, have sprint burst and faster healing speeds. Like cmon.

I have nothing against Blast Mine + Wiretap.
Survivors lost the faster gen speeds, and I feel like the matches are pretty even in this iteration of 2v8, as compared to previous ones.5 -
I disagree, I believe the new Guide is much healthier than the old one, and Blast Mine allows Survivors more options to play around gens, without just being able to flat rush gens like they could before.
The gameplay elements that Blast Mine adds is kicking gens allows killers to see auras around gens and regress them at 200% speed. The auras made kicking gens always profitable for killers and forced Survivors to scatter whenever the killer turned up. Blast Mine means Survivors can try to linger nearby to complete gens if the killer doesn't kick, but if they do kick, or even better guesses they will linger and finds them, then they don't make as much/any distance and likely get chased/downed.
This far better than the old Guide, where a couple of Guides seeking in tandem could crush gens in a little over 30s, with little time for Killers to react. Less than 20s with 3 of them...

Killer queue times are 25+ minutes. We’re caring way too much about killers, and not enough about survivors.
The problem with Blast Mine is it takes way too long to get one ready. Guides should have more Blast Mines, and throw in some Chemical Traps too. Make the entire mode increasingly survivor sided, until the queue times are actually balanced.

Make survivor worse and lengthen killer queues even more? No thanks.
I kinda agree that survivors still need buffs to be competitive in 2v8. If killer teams are any well coordinated at all, games likely end in massacres. I haven't played many killer games, but all of them ended in 6-8 kills, with hatch escapes being the only survivors.
If you think killer is underpowered in 2v8, you're not playing them well at all.

I believe the reality of 2v8 is it is very Survivor sided... but most Survivors playing it are casuals, because 2v8 is easier to win than 1v4... so Survivors suck way harder than normal in 2v8.
If you get survivors who know what they are doing, they cause a lot of problems, but most Survivors are terrible so killers can run roughshot on them. However when you see a good few survivors, they can really cause killers a lot of problems...
Whichever side I play, I tend to do really well... but I definitely feel the impact of a really good survivor much more than I feel the impact of a really good killer.

I agree. It’s not a good fit in 2v8.

Killer queues are already ridiculously long. If anything, killer in 2v8 needs to be more difficult to disincentivize killer role and incentivize survivor role. For those complaining about killer side in 2v8, everyone else waiting for 30 minutes will happily take your spot in the queue.
