Are you serious?
This latest update should be embarrassing. The devs have continuously held the survivors' hands and us killer mains have stayed relatively quiet. However, this latest update is a step too far. They have basically given survivors easy wins and the ability to abuse these latest "punishments" to lake playing killer impossible. The anti-tunnelling mechanics are insane. The fact that I can be punished for happening across a survivor on the otherside of the map is absurd. The punishment is also stupid. I can't even protect gens? So, if I accidentally sacrifice someone because I CAN'T SEE HOOK STATES, I may aswell just sit in one spot because I can't regress gens? Don't even get me started on the stupidity that is the passive health regeneration and non-reseting pick-up timer. Absolutely daft. Survivors need to stop whining about every slight inconvenience and the devs need to stop pandering to them as they're going to lose an entire section of the player base. If killers stop playing, how will the game work? When the game crashes because there are no killers, don't complain about having no matches. You did this to yourself.

Tunneling is a necessary evil and it's time to stop trying to cut out "this cancer". If you want to stand a chance against a well coordinated team, unless you play as nurse, you will have to tunnel eventually.
Maybe if we actually had good or even oppressive slowdown perks these changes would be bearable. As for rn, if these go live i am not touching killer role. Well done Behaviour.

I play both sides, but I main an m1 killer. Honestly, I think I like most of these changes with the exception of the permanent penalties for doing your objective. There's a variety of reasons why someone could be eliminated by the 6th hook. Toxic survivor, cheater, an afk, other survivors just hiding constantly, or a particular survivor is just extremely strong vs the rest of their team and needs into be eliminated sooner than later, or the team is a strong SWF and you've identified their weak link, or you're just simply having a rough time with hardly any hooks and minutes later just happen to come across the same survivor again which is the only valid target of a hook, or people just giving up on hook, or other survivors refusing to unhook the survivor - there are so many reasons someone would get eliminated that was hooked prior or by the 6th hook. I think its an awful idea to permanently hamstring the killer due to these numerous scenarios that commonly happen.
Other than that permanent penalty, I think the new changes are good, though I'm a bit iffy on basekit BBQ...I think there's too much aura reading as it is in the game.

Killers will literally be rewarded for just playing the game because there are no other options to balance this game around tunneling, and "the devs have continuously held the survivors' hands"?

Stayed quiet? The fog vials were the first fun thing survivors got in ages and killers cried until they were nerfed immediately, and they weren't even strong.
And the killer basekit is being buffed. I'm happy to have gen regress, aura, AND haste as basekit. I'm actually really excited to play more killer now. If you play fair, this isn't an issue.
Talk about whining about every slight inconvenience. This hasn't even hit ptb and your talking like survivors are winning every match already.
